Great battlereport as always! Just one thing: krak grenades do scatter upon failing to hit. They have no template but they can still land on top of a model and do damage.

Oh, man! This brings back some awesome memories! I loved 2nd Edition though 3rd and 4th were my favorite.

Excellent battlereport and fantastic armies, and always lovely to see an eldar force this mechanized, even if they don't stay airborne very long. The living ancestor revoking the Farseer's flying privileges twice was an instant classic, and calling out "this is it" before rolling double jams on the sustained is evergreen. Trickshooting the heavy trike to death with a ricocheting empty vyper was just as foretold. Last year I played a 2nd ed bunker assault of sorts, and my experience with that matches what I saw in the first turns here, you almost have to start inside them, the inside of the bunker is so much safer there is no comparison, and an attacking opponent with good shooting of their own will clean off the roofs. I don't agree with the people saying ejector seats shouldn't apply to characters who bought a vehicle as a mount, it's not like they are ordinary passengers. You make a routine of gluing bikers in the saddle usually I presume, with these Vypers the exception? Congratulations to the squats, it didn't look like that strong a lead in points on the table, but they clearly bled for that win. Would love to se them in action again!

Love the Squats, great report. Rules note, you hit the Squat bike and rolled a 10. It has armor 10. Should have been a glancing hit, not penetrative.

I hadnt realised how much i had missed 2nd ED until this battle. I had also forgotten how bloody cool the eldar models were (are?). The falcons just have not aged have they? Mine has disintegrated from many many years of not being used and in careful storage. If i am correct the model was released 25 years ago.

19:20 - A shuriken cannon has 2 sustained fire dice, not just one. You could have done more damage to that bike squad. 😉

I think technically ejector seat wont work for the farseer cos hes transported, not crew
