Honestly I'm hoping there will be more drops instead of points increases. I don't think they feel super unbeatable by any means right now. If anything things like daemon princes and blue horrors need to come down in price.

Nurgle for the win! Ive seen your awesome mixed daemons list but what are your thoughts on mono Nurgle?

Mono Nurgle is an interesting way to play! But you rely on rotigus so much for damage... Flies and rotigus for reroll wounds. You don't really have any damaging units besides the snail with 2 beasts and that's about it. So it would be unique! But very slow and not very killy.

for the beast of nurgle tnak shock can't kill them it's max 6 MW and it's during charge phase, at the end of the phase they heal back

Yep you are totally correct. I knew this when I said it, I was just rattling off random abilities that can deal damage. Grenades + some shooting definitely hurts. Plus there are other annoying abilities hanging around, for example Typhus, or a Brotherhood librarian just dealing some mortal wounds to them and a bolter finishing them off for a 70 point model is very very annoying.

I agree with belly, but i it extremely hard to explain to people how he suxks. People are so fixed on his aura. And if eveyone keeps taking him, he will never get buffed or point deceased

It's a very sad truth. But that's about all we can do at the moment. Eventually when the book comes out he will either be changed, or he won't and no one will play him, then he will! So eventually he'll become usable again 😁 thanks for the comment!

The beasts of nurgle are actually immune to tank shock, cause they heal at the start of every phase to full. They got 7 wounds and tank shock is max of 6. Start of the fight phase they immediately heal to full

Hey I love your content. One thing about be lakor. You don't put value on his ability to use realm of chaos to allow shalaxi / skarbrand to 6 inch deep strike? It's won me so many games

I agree it's super strong! But the strength in that ability comes from shadow! Not from Belakor, he is just an easy way of giving shadow to the map. If you can save those 350 points and find other ways to get shadow then think about all the extra things you could have in your list... For example 20 bloodletters and 3 bloodcrushers! Or 2 rendmasters and nurglings. Much better than Belakor. Just rapid ingress. Or use shadow by holding points. Or sticky one you already hold for shadow! Voilà. Same thing 😁

since we lost warphammer wallace it seems, you are the only one putting out good daemons youtube content. AoW Nick N still does the odd daemon battle report but Nicks style of play isnt for everyone and hes concentrating on sisters atm

I don’t think the Poxbringer’s rules say anywhere that he causes a battleshock test, just that if you take a test within 6” of him, take it at -1. It’s a shame really, if he could force a test he’d be a lot better.

Honestly, Slimux is a nice gimmick for making a terrain feature be all game long in the shadow of chaos all game long. If you get that off near an objective so a Guo +gift is touching both the objective and the terrain feature it's kinda cool. Also permanent deepstrike from the shadow of chaos on that one.

100% it's not bad at all and you can almost ensure it by deep striking 3"! Just to be annoying but I didn't find that happening very often 😕. Hence why he is a 1/5 situation.

So.. mono nurgle. Can you think of any list that isn't doomed to fail? I only have tried 1k games so far but all tests so far went pretty bad.

For 1k I would spam beasts as much as you can! Little units eventually will fall over to beasts... Too hard to kill. In bigger games you need rotigus and a guo. And then some 'hammer units'. I'd buff up the snails with reroll wounds and +1 DMG. And then probably a unit with the poxbringer or scrivener. +1 DMG and reroll wounds is great and then +1 ap from the strat! Not terrible... Even 6 flies in a unit would be really scary! 12 attacks at 3 DMG and 12 at 2. And then 30 wounds at t8 to kill in return is annoying.

For Nurglings didn’t they FAQ no actions for OC0 units? ..not trying to be a smart ass.. just seen a couple people mention this recently and I thought there was a FAQ. Admittedly I might have dreamt it?

It was rumoured but I believe it never came through. It would make those units almost unusable though so I would be surprised. It was due to the biovore shooting spore mines all over the map. If anything that will get changed before things like nurglings
