That's pretty much where the Orks got it from, their experiences with Saim Hann Eldar and later on Blood Angels during Armageddon 2 made them realize that red indeed is fasta. iirc It was mentioned during the Armageddon 3 campaign. I'm suprised Arch didn't mention it, maybe it was retconned, idk.

Was in a Rogue Trader game where the Ork Mek painted one side of the Imperial ship he was on Red (He wanted to do the other side but the Rogue Trader would not let him). The Tech Priests could not figure out how the ship listed to one side until they ramped up the engines on the other side, it was Illogical that one side of the ship was trying to go faster than the other side......

No power of friendship, no waifus and no flowing hair (those scalp-locks are parasites). Doesn't feel very anime to me. Impossibly cut, huge, bulging muscles and oversized, impractical weapons (on top of shrugging off serious injuries) are a maybe, but those are a staple of non-japanese fiction as well.

I honestly hope that the general from the Second and Third War for Armageddon slowly learned what the Orcs believed, and had his outfits, weapons, armor, and personal vehicles all modified to best benefit from the WAAAGH power thanks to the Orcs' slowly-developed fear of him. During a normal war, he would be an oddly-dressed still-competent general, but when Orcs arrived, he would become almost superhuman as he dominates the battlefield and slowly forces the Orc horde back.

Purple vehicles do not exist. Nobody has ever seen a purple orc vehicle. If any orc was crazy enough to try making one they would loose track of it as it would be too sneaky.

Ah Orks: The only race where their technology works because they believe it does, not because it actually should work. Pistons missing from your engine? Not an issue! A plane that could NEVER fly in a million years? It flies! A car that automatically goes faster, just because it's red? You bet! A plane with a missing fuel gauge, replaced by one that simply reads "WAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!"? Also flies!

I remember reading a story about the Orks using a captured Leman Russ. No matter how much damage the Imperium dealt the tank, it just kept coming back. Finally, the Imperium managed to recapture it and sent a team of tech priests to figure out how the Orks made it so durable. And when the tech priests opened up the tank to take a look, there was no engine. There was a drawing of an engine.

13:16 Arch, IRL, all colors of light always go at the constant Speed of Light, red light has the highest wavelength of visible light though. Even within material light isn't going slower, the light is just bumping into atoms that get in its way so it has to traverse a longer path then light in a vacuum does. However, red light does go the straightest when it hits a prism or water. Red light cares the least about rough terrain and just keeps on truckin'! It's the Orkiest color, except green of course! The only thing with green is that it's too holy of a color to paint, which, I guess, is why Orks never paint anything green, change my mind!

While we continue to wait for a possible (though unlikely) remaster of Gorka Morka, I'm happy that there's a way to carry on the Speed Freaks legacy via Crossout. Considering the game's post-apocalyptic theme and the main draw of the game revolving around crafting vehicles from the frame up, it's no wonder that I've seen a lot of Ork themed builds on the exhibition. That includes the semi half hazard building methods, too.
