It’s getting cold out and you need a good warm sleeping bag if you go camping. Check out this heated sleeping bag from Antarctica Gear. #sleepingbag

You know it's funny, they've had battery heated socks for like 30 years. I mean I swear I saw when I was pretty young. And I mean anyone who's camps knows what it's like to wake up at 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. and realize you're sleeping bag just isn't rated for as cold as it's gotten. This is both brilliant and completely obvious. I mean just to have one or two of those in the back of the car along with a couple of those silver foil emergency blankets and a big old jar of peanut butter, along with the ability to melt snow for water, if you had a stranded in a blizzard in a car situation you'd be good. Thanks for letting me know these exist. Cuz I've got sleeping bags but none of them have either. I'm going to change that. Thank you. 😀😊😜

Hey, you should be able to power that heated sleeping bag right from the "unlimited power direct from the earth" device that's running in the ad.

@@411Outdoors Isn't it, though ; >) A little roll up solar panel might also work for a battery recharge. If they haven' dome it all ready tell the company the power controls should be 100% tactile. They should be designed so you can easily adjust the heat zones in the middle of the night with your eyes closed. Like a little box right near your head with extending power knobs with obvious tactile points so you can feel if they're at 1 or 10. Also enough stiffness to the knobs they don't easily shift once set.

Man we’re fixing to go to north chick at the Cumberland trail near Chattanooga, it gets damp as I’ll get out every time I’ve been there. Do you think this thing would get pissed off if it was a little wet since it’s electric ?

HI there, this product mentions the ability to control the heating by 3 levels since you have this item can you tell me where this is located? Does the bag come with a remote control that controls the heating zones or how is this accomplished? Thank you
@411Outdoors
@411Outdoors Жыл бұрын
Yes it comes with a power pack and the controls are connected to the sleeping bag. It’s really nice. You can put the power pack nearby or in a pocket

I have seen similar articles of clothing and gloves with this technology. Prolly from the same company. I want to get a vest or jacket to keep the heart/chest area warm, Keep that area warm and the body will properly circulate blood to all the limbs....

Hi there, thank you for reviewing this item / I have a few questions about elements that are not clear from your video or the instructions online from AntarticaGear so here goes...once the battery pack is engaged with the bag can you heat all 5 zones simultaneously or do you have to choose just one area of the bag that will heat at a time while you sleep? Does a fully charged battery pack keep the bag warm for an average 8 hour night and lastly what does the battery pack hook into to get charged if I'm camping for a couple of nights without a wall outlet could I charge the battery using my car for example? THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK HOPE TO SEE MORE.🙌

Thanks so much! feel like I know the answer to each question but I want to reach out to the manufacturer and get a little more clarification for you. If you haven’t heard back from me soon feel free to respond to this message.

@@inchanting1 I reached out to the manufacturer, and according to them all the heating elements heat up all at once and can’t be controlled separately. They did not give me an exact answer on how long the battery last, but they just said you might want to bring an extra charger if you’re gonna be out for a couple of days. Im thinking 4 to 5 hours each time.

Did you ever get a chance to test it out? Did the battery last all night? Did it keep you warm on a cold night?
@411Outdoors

I never got to do a camping trip this winter but it’s been a very warm winter here so I wouldn’t have needed it anyway. I want to say 4 to 5 hours is what you get on a full charge. Which is good because you could turn it on in the coldest part of the night and it should get you through that.
