So having a car is also an achievement abroad? Our mentality is quiet different from how wealthy people behave. I know one of my bosses who makes almost $300,000.00 a year but has no car and uses scoter and sometimes bicycle and he is ok with it. Average people I know in my area who can't afford paying their rent on time have cars. There's a company that rent classic cars and membership is $10,000.00 a year. Whatever car they need, they go for and return. Telling my colleagues, we all thought it's very expensive but sitting down and analyzing, I realize why they are rich because calculating how much I spend on my car, insurance, garage payment, fuel and insurance, I spend almost twice what they pay. Now I know that displaying cars and houses doesn't make you rich.
