Here we go with another one of Beto's callouts and this time with the "Red Venom" giveaway truck. Both trucks are tastefully modded for 'daily' use and once again we were surprised at the outcome! Bad ass vid depends who the ford is tuned by but from what i know most at least mine tuned put it in manual drop a gear I usually do 25mph or even 30 in first gear then floor it and mine shifts on its own at high rpm from there then when i slow down throw it back in drive

BETO THE LAG ON THE F-150’s IS CAUSED BY THE DRIVE BY WIRE THROTTLE THAT FORD USES. YOU NEED TO INSTALL A SHIFTPOWER THROTTLE RESPONSE CONTROLLER. ALL OF THE DRIVE BY WIRE ELECTRONICS HAVE A BAD DELAY.

Homie knows something up with the truck a good tuner can tune it reliable with the single pump (not a bunch of power) but definitely can turn it down for you to drive reliable just my opinion

The problem with the fords is they’re probably on the whipple tune that came with the kit. The whipple tune has heavy torque reduction and has parameters to “protect” the trans that’s why it has such a pronounced “lag.” Take the fords and get them tuned by Lund, the Lund tune doesn’t need to go into anything other then drive to be ready to go.
