Thank you very much for your comment! :) Yes, 42043 has a lot of potential to mod. But this result couldn't be achieved with Power Functions or C+. A PF Servo, for example is more then 2 longer than a Geek servo (7 studs vs 3 studs). Also need to find a good place for a battery box / C+ hub. For me, RC electronics was a real game changer - smaller servo motor, the system itself is modular - you can choose the battery/receiver/ESC that suits your needs. Recommend you to try :) Yes, it doesn't work out of the box, need to solder wires, but it really worth the effort!

@@orangetrialtruck recently i have been playing around with pybricks, it allows you directly to use an xbox controller for your PU hubs, really cool and useful, sadly there are only 4 ports, the 6 port hub is horribly expensive and rare!!!! (second hand xbox controllers can be found for €30-40) i am interested is using real RC stuff for lego but i first want to explore real lego options more :) i am looking forward to more content! any progress on your unimog V5?

@@copernicon1 Thanks, I know about pybricks - but what I don't like about PU hubs - proprietary connectors, only 4 ports, dimensions, AA batteries... And as I understand there is a latency - small, but still noticeable. RC world seems like freedom in comparison :)) And there is no latency at all - servos react instantly.. About the Unimog - I added a diff lock to the rear axle (with a GeekServo), but decided not to change the castor angle - too much of work, IMO the profit isn't worth the effort. Still need to make time and record a video

@@orangetrialtruck there are definitely cons and pros to PU (btw, i dont like PU) and real RC it might indeed be the best idea to keep the unimog as simple as possible
