An idea emailed in from Rich Creed about using the kicking keeping to control the ball when you gain possession within the penalty area. UTG 🤟

my understanding of the rule presently is that if you shoot and the keeper saves it. the keeper on the rod can 'push' it wherever he wants but the attacking team retains possession until it hits an out field player on the other side or the attacker misses when flicking for the ball.. you always have the option with your flicking keeper to flick from either side of the touchline if in possession-but if you miss your keeper on a rod slides into the back of the net and the attacker has an open goal..

Yes good idea. I do something similar only difference is the kicking keeper can effectively act like an outfield player so can have up to 3 kicks and can kick outside of the 18 yard box. Also I play that when you are finished with the kicking keeper as long as you are in possession still you have to flick him back into the 6 yard box to end his turn. If he hits the ball and it goes to the opposition then he may be stuck outfield with the goal wide open which can make it quite exciting and overall a bit more realistic
