Hi, 125rs 25%SL retry strategy. Due to low Vix, 25% hit twice on both sides and made losses are you still using the same system and making a profit.

What are entry and exit conditions? Do we not use technical analysis for entry/exit in options trading? I'm confused, whenever I see these podcasts, the traders never discuss any entry conditions based on price action. Do we just open a trade no matter the market conditions at a specific time?

For me a simple strategy is one that we can easily execute MANUALLY, but the strategy shared in the video required algo for execution because of many parameters. LESS PARAMETERS BASED STRATEGY IS EASY FOR EXECUTION. But a big thanks to the Kapil for sharing the honest knowledge. Also a big thanks to nitish for keeping the good work going

Absolutely brilliant video! Thank you for sharing! Frankly I had not tried Stock Mock before, but after watching this video I signed up and ran a few strategies. 1 feature request I would like to make is to give the option to select expires. I personally prefer trading in expires which are 1 or 2 weeks after the current expiry, I find these less volatile and easier to manage. Nitish bhai please consider this and introduce this feature. Thanks again!

This comment is for beginners.......... Most of us use Zerodha/Upstock. They charge Rs 20/- per order. (Rs 20/- for buy order and Rs 20/- for sell order = 40 for entry and exit) Now let us calculate the brokerage for 1 year for the strategy that was explained in the video. There are 6 lots. So, per day brokerage = 6 * 40 = 240 For one month = 20 * 240 = 4800 For one year = 12 * 4800 = Rs 57,600/-. This is just the brokerage. We also have other charges like STT, GST, SEBI charges etc. So, if you blindly follow any strategy, you will end up with losses or with bad profits. As suggested by Nithish bhai in the video, we need to just take the ideas and improve our knowledge and then develop strategies as per our risk management.

sir i am not able to backtest positional option buy monthly of last 4 years. i want to buy monthly option 1st day of the month and square off on expiry day. days are not similar in every month so not able to backtest pls help

Nitish sir you should have one cell to show exponential average profit % which gives more weight to recent time/week/year like EMA ? We can see these strategy is loosing edge year or year and %% returns are decreasing every year continously.

The reason why he says diversification is important because there was period when everybody was doing 9:20 straddle and the strategy became dead i myself faced maximum drawdown per day it is a strategy with high vix and you cannot deploy on less vix and those 4-5 months every 9:20 guy was on road and have to shut their system at end.
