I supercharged one and it threw a rod at 150hp. Maybe a freak failure but the parts are like eggshells, they look week.

Hmm not heard about that issue anywhere else. It’s only boosted to 8 psi but that’s enough! More than that needs rods yep. It’s a light bike at probably 30 kilos lighter than this Honda. Some guys are getting sub 9 qtr mile times with this kit etc. I don’t thrash mine but nice when you want to use the power. So far so good. Cheers and all the best. Maybe an MT 10 to kit next. Looks like the panigale passed it a bit further down and put in quite a gap. Aerodynamics.

@@stephenmcqueen4029 nothing to do with aero. Gearing on the CB runs out at about 155, I speak from experience 👍

No different to stock. The blower doesn’t make any difference

torque is acceleration and the Honda has 50% more.

Yer I'd be interested in super charging my 2004 zx10r instead of getting a newer R1. Would it make over 200hp at the wheel 🤔

@@mrgreen9388 it can, but the stock parts won't be able to handle that kind of power, u need a forged piston,rings, new rods and cams, all coated with wpc and dlc for crown and rings

@@TTSPerformance the bike of mine that I would want supercharging is a Honda CBR500R, it's perfect to me. I have a had a full license for three years, test rode a Super Blackbird last year and didn't like the riding dynamics as much as my cbr. Used to own a Z650. My girlfriend has a Hornet 600 with 105bhp, which I rode for the first time with her as pillion two years ago and thought that it felt like a decent amount of power for me. Blackbird was difficult to keep at thirty, nevermind finding thirty on the analogue speedo with it being so small haha

Nope all remapped to keep detonation away.

Rotrex superchargers don’t over heat. The kit is intercooled. Temps stay at 35 deg C max. Everyday ride. Perfect.

@@TTSPerformance no I am not in the UK. I asked because in the video you make the effort to mention the cost of the Ducati at 25k but not the honda + modifications. So bike ~13k + 3k of mods? Not bad for a kick arse bike! Also, is the kit warranteed?

The Honda supercharged is half the price of the Duc!

Also at 2:15 you claim on screen that the Honda wins the drag race. Yet as I watch the race the Honda appeared to have the edge for the first 150 metres and then you can clearly see the Ducati get ahead and continue to disappear from view before the Honda does, and then we see the Ducati at the end of the race clearly way ahead whilst engine revs are still high from down changing as they cease to compete. At no stage of the video do we see any proof that the Honda wins, none! Can you post the footage of the Honda winning?

From 100 hp of the 660 to 180 of the 1100 it's a very big gap...something around 120-130 true hp with the increasing torque curve of the supercharger would be perfect!

@@giovanniquargentan6198 sicuramente la 1100 moto eccezionale però davvero mi piacerebbe vedere una via di mezzo come cavalli, alla fine le uniche moto di produzione con compressore per adesso sono quelle di kawasaki però puntano troppo a prestazioni/peso esagerati mentre vorrei davvero vedere questi compressori su medie cilindrate per avere potenza peso ridotto e un erogazione della madonna
