Glad you mentioned Andrew,I’ve learned a lot from him and I’m doing the same from you. By the way I’m 66 retired. Good work.

I recently found your channel. I'm looking for a 743 or 763 for use around my house. Your work is impressive. I also love watching Andrew Camarata and his crazy stuff. His container castle house is awesome.

Very nice job on these forks. I can't understand why you don't have 100,000 subscribers. Your videos are among the best on KZfaq. The level of detail is just right, not to tech heavy and not to glossed over. Here's a suggestion for a new video; next time you go to the steel supply store/scrapyard shoot a video of how you go about picking out steel.

Another great build Ozzy! You are a master fabricator for sure. We've used that Rust Reformer paint with great success out at our place where theres some rust but way too many spots to ever hit with a flapper or wire brush. Can't wait to see the new building videos from the slab on up!

Thank you! One of my only regrets in that restoration is that I wish I had built a stroked Windsor!! Need to do a few things to it...maybe roll cameras on it.👍

You may have the only video on KZfaq doing this. I have the forks and the quick connect plate will be here tomorrow. I paid $178, I couldn't possibly buy the material for that now at $6/lf. When I got home, I started looking at the forks and realized my quick attach is a flat plate. By the time I finished your video I have all sorts of ideas not. You got my gears straightened out!

Love it!!! I use those forks all the time!! One thing I should have done was build in more lean back in my brackets. When I pick up a pallet of stuff, I cant quite tilt back as far as I would like! Good luck!!

@@StevesBeyondRepair Good to know! Since I bought the plate, I will put it on the tractor and build to position. Thanks!

I’m wondering why the top horizontal hanger plate was stuck out and angled. You said you were doing that but I didn’t catch why. Thanks for posting. It’s the basic design I’m going to follow.

Looking back at this, I welded the lower slide plate for the forks flush to the 2 inch square tube on the bottom, and needed the top to be pulled or angled away from the 2 inch square tube so it could slide properly. If I had to do it again I would build the quick hitch part angled back more(spaced further on the bottom). It works great, but cant tilt back as far as I like.

Nice job! I just bought a fork for my 743, should have made one! Whats in that white plastic can you dip your welder tip in?

Thanks! They work perfect! Cant wait to see if I can root up some small stumps. That stuff is nozzle gel. Keeps the slag from adhering to the inside of the gas cup, makes it easier to clean it out.

@@StevesBeyondRepair i have a friend that uses forks to rip out old pavement. I bought a stump bucket and will use it when my 743b leak gets fixed. Be useful for drain ditches too. Good idea on nozzle gel, your work always looks good. Thank you for your videos!

Nice work, but you shoulda put a hammer holder on there since you built it so tight. I was tryna tell you fer you painted, but it was like you couldn't hear me.

Hahaha! You are so right! I was using it the other day, and had them set to the outside. I was scrambling to find something to hit on them beside my foot, to move then in! I also found I needed to build in more upward rake to it... oh well, they still work really well. Thanks for the comment!!
