I grew up in the 70's. Born in 1967, I was able to grow up during a really wonderful time! Monday Night Football was absolutely incredible during the 70's and 80's. M*A*S*H was born. Oddly I hated M*A*S*H until I grew older and I understood the show better. Then the best times...... Saturday mornings 🌄.....why? CARTOONS!! The 70's had the BEST 📺TV📺 shows ever on Saturdays. At 6am if you got up that early, I was usually a 7 or 8am kid...lol, the cartoons would start. Not just cartoons, but live action shows like Land of the Lost. Remember the Sleestacks? Sid & Marty Krofft, Sigmund the Sea-Monster, and many others. The my favorites would come on. Hanna Barbera was always awesome! I loved Speed Buggy! Josie and the Pussycats were irksome but fun. Then, the biggie! The Superfriends! 🦇🦹‍♀️Batman🦹‍♂️🦇, ®️®️Robin®️®️ 🦸‍♂️🦸Superman🦸🦸‍♂️, ⚡⚡Flash⚡⚡, 🦈🐙🐬🐳Aquaman🐋🐬🦑🦈, 🦸‍♀️Wonder Woman🦸‍♀️, 🪔Green Lantern🪔, 🏹🏹Green Arrow 🏹🏹, 🦅Hawkman🦅, and of course the baddies, or Rogues Gallery. 🦲👨‍🦲Lex Luther👨‍🦲🦲, The 🃏🃏Joker🃏🃏, the 🐧🐧Penguin🐧🐧, the ❓❔Riddler❔❓, 🦍🦍Gorilla Grod🦍🦍, 🥶🧊Captain🥼🥽Cold🔫🥶, 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛Catwoman🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛, and more. Along with the cartoon I had the MEGO Superheroes action figures on the floor, ready to do battle! LOL! Then the best! Merry Melodies! The music.... 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵 🎶🎵🎶🎶🎵🎺🎷🪗🎹🎸🎻🪕🥁 Overture, curtain, lights, 🎼🎵🎶🎵🎵🎶🎶 The Bugs Bunny 🐰 Road-Runner Show!! It was truly the best time as a little kid! Your Hot Wheels on the floor or your Mego Superheroes. Watching Bugs Bunny 🐰 blast Elmer Fudd! Or see Daffy Duck's bill flip across his face. See the 🏜 coyote🛼 get OH SO ⏰CLOSE🚀 to the Road-Runner the. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! 🪨💥💥BOOM💥💥poof💨 🏥🏨 LOL! 🦽🦼 These were the times of no worries. Afterwards when the cartoons ended you had options. A)stay inside and watch AWA All-Star Wrestling, then Star Trek, Kung-Fu, and then the 🌎Wild🌏World🌐Of🌍Sports🌎 around 2pm or so. In the fall there was college football as well. But the Wide World of Sports had stuff like Evel Knievel's insane jumps, the 🏀Harlem🏀Globetrotters🏀playing the Washington team. There was also Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Or better still you could grab a buddy, go for a bike ride into the woods, following the trails around Mud Lake. Maybe building or adding to your already built Fort? When people threw out old lawn chairs, if they were okay we'd grab them for our Fort. We didn't have the 🌎World🌏Wide🌐Web🌍or internet🌎. Nope we had one thing, OUR IMAGINATION! We used it to it's fullest capacity too! Aside from that there was 🎣fishing🎣 , 🏈playing🏉🏉Football🏈, 🏀🏀Basketball🏀🏀, or ⚾️⚾️Baseball⚾️⚾️. In the winter we'd go🛷🛷sledding🛷🛷, or if it was cold, like so cold our parents actually kept us in...lol, we'd play 🎲🎲🎲Yahtzee🎲🎲, ♟♟Parchessi♟♟, Trouble, Sorry, Headache, or other older classic board games. Or maybe Mom would play ♥️♣️cards♠️♦️ with you. Later on the Atari 2600 was released and 💥BOOM💥 the home arcade system was born! 🕹🎮🎮🕹 My point is the 70's and 80's had some of the most iconic times, the best times(especially Saturday mornings), the best games, and most importantly we felt SAFE AND SOUND! 🙏 It just honestly seems like EVERYTHING was so much better in the 70's and early 80's. No offense to the 2000's, but it SUCKS! When compared to anytime in the 70's. Greed, narcissistic behavior, idiotic ideals, and invasive technology has turned this time into a sickeningly evil and twisted time. And it SUCKS! Sorry but it does!

SHNAST-TV: Maybe that's what's wrong w/ the "Spaghetti-O's" I bought recently... I hadn't purchased them in a.few yrs, as they just tasted "off" the last time I'd purchased them. I thought maybe it was me... But after trying them again a few days ago I realized they changed something about the sauce that made them taste just not right. Perhaps not is the fake sugar, and preservatives. It was awful. I legit through them out after a few bites. I was just so disappointed that not even a classic canned snack could remain the same. Its like these companies think skimping on ingredients won't be noticed by their long-time consumers.

Not gonna lie, I had bittersweet feelings about Christmas for about a good 15 years. Nostalgia made me look forward to Christmas, but the reality was that there where a bunch of things I'd want that I wouldn't get which made me kind of bitter. That bitterness morphed into self loathing because I knew why I couldn't get most of what I wanted so I felt like a selfish prick for wanting anything at all, yet unable to fully suppress that want or disappointment when I can't get something. Things have greatly improved over the last ten or years, but I still have a hard time even considering presents I might want. Same thing with my birthday.

We were too poor to afford most of the things on tv, but watching the christmas commercials hit me with the same nostalgia as if we had been able to have those things. It is still a good childlike feeling and as an adult I realize that stuff didn't matter as much as I thought.

One little tidbit of irony....I come to You Tube and when the "Ads" pop up I get frustrated like UGH another one. Yet here I am watching commercials and ADS from the 70's and 80's and LOVING IT!?!? Umm irony or am I 🤪? Jokes aside, this was a needed distraction. Thank you very much for this opportunity to remember how much I loved my childhood memories and adventures. So many memories popped up throughout these commercials. Back when cable wasn't $300.00 a month. HBO, Showtime, etc didn't have 10+ channels each. These were simple times, yet so fun and so memorable! Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication! Excellent video!

Being someone who was born just before the 70's, 1967 to be exact, I can truly say that these memories will never be surpassed as the best time of my life. Technology is OVER-RATED! Knowing everything is not always the best thing. Some secrets are best left secret. While there are some that we can be thankful for, I just think the 70's had far less worry and insanity that now. Back then we just worked, loved our families, and lived our lives. Nowadays everyone's out to get everyone. Even for a comment or a supposed issue that was 30 years ago. Now you are GUILTY until death. Not even until proven innocent. Since even if you are found not guilty the Social Media, and Social Justice Warriors will never let up on you. The 70's had such a beautiful outlook, and then we got this! THIS WORLD 🌎 NEEDS AN ENEMA! 🚽🧻🪠 AND ABOUT 10 GOOD FLUSHES!😳👌👍😋😳

Too late for that. Like cockroaches, the liberals infested our country and ruined EVERYTHING. We know what needs to be done, but who has the guts? 🇺🇸

@@mywifesboyfriend5558 LsOL ..my fam at the time had one and then we got the touch tone buttons one when that was available. My fam got one of those answering machines to go w/ it. That's when you started to get ANNOYING A.F. telemarketing calls. At the time, my fam had to LITERALLY tell them to be put on the DO NOT CALL list. Then we had a FAX for a while. (I'M SHOCKED that fax still exists to this DAY.) That's when cordless touch tone phones became available. There are still cordless touch tones available today if ANY ONE still has or uses land lines. Those still exist. I'm kinda sad to see phone booths and pay phones vanish. Although there were many reasons why they all had to be removed. So that's, meh. ^u^🙃
