This is a great list! Thank you. I do believe Ice Berg Lettuce is not good for Rabbit though. It’s too high in water content & retains lots of pesticides if it’s not organic.

yeah i think so just because of the high water content and there isn't really any nutrition in that if you feed lettuce its best to not really do iceberg

I give one of these from each catagorey a day also i mixed oats with food is that ok? And for rabbit owners try to give them some outdoor fun and dont give alfalfa treats

oats aren't the worst thing for rabbits, but they are high in calories so be careful. they provide no nutrition for rabbits so they don't really serve a purpose. they won't cause harm, but i still wouldn't feed it too often

A baby rabbit can eat some alfalfa. Adults cannot eat much because it contains high amounts of calcium, that builds up in their system. I wouldn’t worry if they get ahold of a little bit, like in some mixed rabbit foods, just don’t feed alfalfa pellets, blocks, or loose hay on a constant basis. Stick to timothy hay.

Hi everyone, just a question you know the rabbit pets at home sticks (e.g popcorn flavoured rabbit sticks especially) are these safe for the rabbits because for all of them I have heard that seeds aren’t good for the rabbit also corn? So please suggestions??????????????

This is great and all but actually you should feed your rabbits lots and lots of hay too!!! hay is actually very important too (i knw this is an old video but i figure i should say something idk) greens are actually the second part of a bunnies diet they can live on greens but hay helps them to digest stuff lots easier and you should give them lots and lots of hay and not to restrict them from they hay.

from what i've read. they aren't the best because they're hard and stringy and harder for digestion. i know a lot of toys are made using it though. thanks for bringing it up though! i watched a video on the toys, and they aren't recommended

Your bunny will be okay! Brussel sprouts arent recommend but they are the equivalent of chocolate for dogs or anything. They could upset the rabbits stomach and make them gassy, but 2 brussel sprouts won’t kill your rabbit. Just try to stay clear in the future 💜

Grapes for dogs are poisonous this also includes raisons. Yes they can. Pesticides are real so organic and seedless is better but no raisons. Cranberries blueberries raspberries blackberries are also tasty treats but remember to feed in moderation. As a kind of easy way to remember is if it's from a tree organic isn't as necessary no leaves and usually not the seeds.

Mitra Omidi I would just see what you can find online because I'm not really sure. I'm sure that his rabbit will be alright because I think people have given their rabbits corn before and it been okay or given treats that have corn in it. I would guess just make sure your rabbit has hay and water then vegetables to keep his digestive system moving

Mitra Omidi Honestly, in the wild they will eat what they can when they can. So in my opinion it's not poisonous like chocolate a lot of foods are fine in small doses. Carrots are no myth rabbits love carrots, green beans, hay, fresh picked grass or dandelion greens carrot tops, celery cut up. The list goes on no tropical or exotic fruits no seed or nuts or candy... Apples, pears, banana stay away from anything to juicy. Rabbits get sick and die easily from diarrhea. Hope this helps! :-)

Although bamboo is a grass plant if a rabbit in nature can't reach it they shouldn't eat it. Most bamboo is poisonous to household cats so I would not feed your rabbit bamboo leaves.

I owned the most wonderful loving rabbit he was fat and big not big, big 17 - 20 pounds if I remember correctly. He loved cuddles snuggles you name it he was baby to my little girly heart. I fed him a pellet diet with dried carrot and grass and what not, that's what was good for him. He lived in an aquarium not much bigger then himself. He didn't mind however he made two things very clear right off the bat... He wanted a bowl of water outside his cage on a stool so he could stand and drink also he refused to have a cover over his head. He loved all the common veggies except snow peas in the pod. The thing that did end his life was fresh alfalfa. He got bad diarrhea which led to other issues then peacefully he drifted away in sleep at the vet. I would give him fruit apples he ate bananas and the peel s too however now I would only give it if they were organic. He loved his greens but really he loved butter and sugared toast. He always wanted a nibble of what I had and I always shared. All this within reason of course but he did like his junk food, sooo hilarious. He was around 12 plus human years and I know he was only two weeks old when I brought him home. Fresh grass, no iceberg lettuce, juicy fruits peaches pineapple or nuts or seeds and any other fresh grasses...pass give hay and other dried grasses, clovers, alfalfa... Also in my experience the bigger the sweeter, males over females for kids and as I did have hate filled small rabbit brake all but one toe before his untimely death having the right people doing a very careful job of declawing your male rabbit is not as inhumane as you might think. I also believe that it helped calm him like the whole neutering thing. Thanks for reading hope this helps! PS: LETTING GO A HOUSEHOLD RABBIT INTO THE WILD IS INHUMANE Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Isn't 2 weeks old way too young for a rabbit to be separated from his mother ? Aren't all those fruits too sweet for rabbits ? And about the toast, aren't cereals the cause of multiple diseases for rabbits ? Also, hay is the basic food for rabbits. It contains a lot of fibers which are essential to their diet. Grass is good, too of course. I just want to share my opinion, and ask some questions. I am considering the adoption of a bunny, and I want to make sure I feed him/her the right things, so I ask as much people as I can :D I might be wrong on some things, though. If that's the case, please feel free to tell me :D

@@khuonnlim6519 Thank you for asking. Junk food was a loose term. I did indeed give him breads such as toast cereals + marshmallows. Absolutely no candy 100% no chocolate. My rabbit, Rimbia was his name lived for so long and however I kept him and all that I fed him never hurt his health. Kinda like Garfield just a little overweight. Think about it this way! If they eat it in the wild then it's okay. I truly do not recommend the buttered surgared toast. He was a willful rabbit with a boatload of personality. Just watch the moist greens and cut the celery up they can die from the celery strings/veins. No tree leaves either.

They can, but it would be best to buy organic because there could possibly be remaining pesticides and harmful chemicals on the peel, but same could go for an apple. Rabbits can eat all of a mandarin except any seeds. Hope I helped:)

I don't know.... I get mixed results every time I search it up.... I personally don't feed it to my bun, his stomach isn't in the best condition after eating it.
