Goshiwom has a great use of space with a wet bath in this tiny room. For holidays it's more than enough.

That one looks so nice! I also really like that your room had a window. I don’t mind small, but the rooms I’ve seen with no windows give me the chills haha.

this is the best tiny apartment i've seen so far. i've seen smaller rooms but without toiler/bath (a must for me). thanx for sharing. perfect for someone on a tight budget who is working/studying far away from home.

Exactly! This place was recommended to me by other expats. I wasn’t finding what I was looking for online. I can’t do shared bathrooms haha

I have never had a Korean elevator open or close for me so quickly. Granted, I'm basing this off of 2012, but it was like walking into an alligator's mouth where the alligator would then try to chomp on you as you went through.

I don't know if you're still living in a goshiwon but how do you operate the washing machine? and did you have to air dry your clothes or was it one of those washing machines thats also a dryer?

I’m not in Korea anymore BUT as for the washing machine it depends. If you can’t have some one or the owner show you, most translator apps have an option where you can use the camera to help translate. I’ve had to do this once.

I needed a place to stay before I left Korea so it was a cost effective option. I kept banging my arm on the bathroom door though 😆

Sorry for the late reply! I don’t have a link for the website but the contact information is in the description. I was referred to this goshiwon from another ESL Teacher after inquiring in a Facebook group. Hope that helps.

I love how they utilize every inch of space. They make living quarters to suit the average persons body type. In the states most of the Americans are over weight so most of the time the living space is larger. In the states this is a jail cell with amenities lol

Lol! This is NOT an average size apartment in Korea by any means. Goshiwons are low priced housing options typically for college students located very near to a college campus! Goshiwons are also spread about Korea as a low cost housing option or visitors to the area. I have yet to meet a Korean or any other person that aspires to live in a Goshiwon as a permanent living option! It’s not ideal in the least. My reason was because I was leaving Korea in a month and was no longer working at my school. Others have used it as a transition. Check out some KZfaq videos of actual apartments in Korea. Some maybe small but not this small 😂

Should they ask for deposit when you are renting a Goshiwon too?

Hi! Thank you for watching! At this Goshiwon, I was asked to leave a deposit. My move in date was not immediate as I was booking a couple of weeks ahead of when I wanted to stay. I hope this helps.
