In this episode of Next of Ken, we're counting down 46 Times Chandler Bing Couldn't Control His Sarcasm. He's lonely, awkward, and desperate for love, but mostly, Chandler Bing is the ultimate King of Sarcasm and he has no interest or ability to maintain it. Played by Matthew Perry, Chandler Bing rarely takes any moments on "Friends" seriously, often poking fun at any social situation to alleviate tension he feels in the moment. For that, he's one of our favorite friends and this tribute is dedicated to all of his greatest sarcastic moments.

Matthew was the only one from the cast who was in every script meeting, he wrote the Best jokes ... Not only for himself and his impro was always on time. I think he's some kind of genius. I think he wrote a lot of scripts. I saw his 'End of Longing' in London. I loved it.

Fun fact: Matthew perry was the only actor that was able to write lines for his character. Reason being that during the first season he actually improvised a lot of his funny lines. The writers were going to ask him to stop, but the audience reaction was so good they allowed him to write his own lines.

In "Studio 60" Matthew repeats the same comic formula of the answer machine. In that show Matthew announces: "Danny and Jordan are engaged!". Missed the best line in the series. Joey and Chandler lost Ben as a baby and had to choose between 2 babies. 1 was covered in clown sheets, the other had duck sheets. Joey says: "let's flip a coin. heads will be the duck cuz ducks have heads" Chandler looks at him all serious: "What kind of scary-ass clowns you had at your birthday parties?"

I think actually there is a code, because in the godfather 2, when somebody is about to kill Frankie Pentangeli, he says, "Michael Corleone says Hello" so it could be a reference to that, because they are Italians and the name off the tailor is Frankie too.

@@lucasdiaz67 Actually, there literally was a "code", even though even Joey didn't know it. Frankie "took advantage of" Chandler. Joey has been going to him for 12 years. Joey says "that's how they do pants. first they go one side, then they move it over, then they go up the other side, they move it back and they do the reer". Maybe Frankie assumed, just because Joey was ok with it and Joey sent Chandler, that Chandler was interested in something similar XDD
