Awesome job. Degreeing the cams is very important for those of you at home. True TDC, degree your cams, piston to valve clearance. Take the guess work out of your cam settings prior to the dyno. This setup could have made more with the exact settings the cam duration is designed for. It's a crap shoot going +1 here - 2 there. It'll take a lot of your tuners time up trying to find the right combination. It's definitely a process if you're doing it yourself, but if the engine builder offers it, it's worth the extra money.

From the sounds of it that would be a set of skunk2 pro2 cams. My old set up was similar and vtec was 6400 and revved to 9350 still making power

You did an excellent job considering your starting out with a guessing game not knowing the cam specs. I'm not super familiar with Honda builds but those are fairly big cams to push the power curve out that far. Good job figuring it out man. You deserve every penny you charge with results like that. That is a certified ripper for sure.

I’m running 14 degrees on 19 psi 8.5:1 made 520 whp on straight Canadian 91 that’s the best we get at the pumps here the combo of low comp with pun had seems to work good I have 80 000 km (50 k miles ) same block 10 year all above 400
