Kate should be a person who does audio books. You are a great story teller, and you make people want to listen.

You have the most soothing voice. I absolutely LOVE to listening to you speak. I REALLY would love to hear you read out loud a book. Not at all one go, but a chapter at a time. THERE'S your next channel. ❤

Well done with the tree. Really good to see that you are going to be using in the cottage. Your comments today were moving and so important that the human race find a way to reflect and implement many of those values. You both are a blessing🙏

I love the way the two of you take time to ponder the world around you, counting the rings of a tree or admiring an old gate, details of what lays around you and telling their stories. Katie's introspections are always a delight and thought provoking. In a world of fast-paced fleeting images your channel challenges us to slow down for a moment and take in the "seasons" and embrace those life-giving connections.

My mother and grandmother would butter the spoon she measured the treacle/Molasses with. They claimed it helped to get the correct dosage in the recipes. I use their cooking/baking pots/pans. I enjoy the memories they gift me. I'm 66 yrs old, and none of my younger kin want the "old things." I'm glad you use the older cookware.

Thank you for counting the rings on that gorgeous tree. I was wondering how old it was. A gentle giant has fallen. So glad that you will be using the wood for your home as well as other articles. You have a very beautiful voice. What a gift. So enjoy listening to you.❤

Beautiful reflections of your fallen tree and the scripture. I had a few deaths in my family recently and your words brought me to tears and gave me so much comfort. You write beautifully and look forward to your videos. Cheers from Pennsylvania in the US.

One of the things I like about your videos is reading the comments, I’ve learned so much.🙂 The gingerbread looked scrumptious. 👍 I felt sad hearing how old that tree was, such a little stream of water that brought it down. The wonders of nature. 💚

Something as simple as hearing the swirling of the spoon in your teacup with a little “ding” as you tapped it on the rim…

I built a house in 1989 and used red cedar for closets and siding where there wasn't brick outside. It smells so good inside and is a wonderful wood for siding and shingles. Keeps the bugs away too. Cost a bloody fortune then and I can't imagine affording it now.
