BMW's M1, truly a timeless machine, exquisitely beautiful and superbly functional. No paddle shifters, no sequential gearbox, just a conventional H-pattern coupled to that beautiful raucous in-line 6 cyl. And Kammermann drives his machine to the limit, whilst appearing completely relaxed, all while rowing the shifter with lightning quick precision. SUPERB!

My favourite race car. It's so good to see one driven in anger nowadays. This are as rare as they are expensive. One of my best childhood memories is being on the top of a metal structure to cross over the track of Vila do Conde (Portugal), and Mario Silva passing below full throttle in his Chocolates Imperial livered M1...the whole metal thing shaked as they were so loud.

I know this might be boring for most people, but i would like to see how streetcars perform. Not completely swapped or tuned cars. Just slightly modified or not at all and then race them up the hill. Just fun races with dailies and people who have fun pushing their streetcar 😅

Pretty insane how much power coming out of the M88 naturally aspirated. Granted, it's a race engine. 470 HP is about the same power as the turbo M-Cars now if i'm not mistaken.

Knowing it’s only a inline-6, it can easily pass for an 8, a 10, or even a 12 cylinder, because the tones are really that heavy and deep, and as for the M1’s look, I think they tried their 2.0 version w/the i8, but nothing can/will Ever match the M1, because the likes of Bertone, Giugiaro, Gandini and Pininfarina, are once in a lifetime

There is a Turbo version of this car, that really kicks rocks. Hopefully brother Hans Wagner is still driving it at the 847 hp / 950 Nm , and weight 1 T .
