The molds they make are just amazing. And, I would love to buy some of them. Sadly, I am retired and must be careful with my craft spending. Since I create primarily for my own use and pleasure at the moment, I opt for variety vs. high end. If I had a business, I would feel better about spending more on molds and tools.

The bigger one is definately more sparkly. 😍Both are beautiful in their own way. I would buy the expensive one if they were to come in exactly the same size. But I wont necessarily charge more when I sell it. Because it is going to take the excact same amount of resin. And because it is a better quality mold you are going to get way more uses out of that than the cheaper one. And it is an eye catcher for sure. Will most definitely be a big seller...So it will be a win win situation...😊

Oh my goodness they are both beautiful, but that large one is to die for. The inside part of the large wind, the black section of it reminds me of the Marcus Site jewelry design. That’s how it looks that’s beautiful, but that price man I don’t know that’s super expensive however that mobile will last you for years if you take good care of it because it’s so thick and so heavy. Your experiment they both look good but nothing beats that large one.❤😂

I have my own business and if I made a lot of money I would consider getting the expensive mold. However, there are so many ways to enhance your pieces that it's not really necessary. I probably wouldn't ever buy it because that's just an outrageous price. Gorgeous though. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
@patriciacushing7448
@patriciacushing7448 Ай бұрын
You got spend money to make money! I prefer the larger one, and who wouldn’t. Then again it uses more resin, so will cost more to make. If you use the ratio to calculate your sale price e.g. 20% cost of mould + resin + additives + embellishments + (time x hourly rate) = sale price. You would need to know your market. You could sell higher end pieces on line or at a Christmas market, whereas you might be better with the smaller, less expensive ones at a church sale, small market booth. ❤

@@glitznglitterbymichelle1Hi - so I have a LARGE rubber duckie that I need to make a mold of. I received the Lets resin silicone rubber molding material. I believe when I looked at the materials that you could use to make molds out of, rubber isn’t one of them. Can I coat the outside with resin or silicone adhesive or something else? Also, I was wondering if you could do a video on tumbler toppers? I’ve seen you make the donut one, but I’d like to see more. I was wondering if the toppers were more for looks, or keeping people from coming in contact with the resin. I watch your videos every day and I really learn a lot. You’re a great teacher ❤️!

No honey… the mold itself is $73. You would then make multiple trays and sell for $20-$30 each… it wouldn’t take long to actually profit from spending $73 to buy the original mold. Does that make sense or did I just make it more confusing? 😆
