Caleb Collier GarageBand on an iPad Pro is incredible because of the screen real estate, sucks on an iphone. Full fretboard view with the midi guitars are a bonus

It’s been about two years since I’ve been making beats on GarageBand and I make a lot of beats there now, and I have my own 808’s, hi hats, kicks all in custom so I can pitch them how I want it’s really elevated my beats

Prod By Venom - there are three very cool 808 kits in GarageBand iOS. The “Modern 808” is my favourite and is already in GarageBand. There’s also two more 808 kits you can download for free in the Sound Library - 808 Flex (Flex and Flow pack) and a Roland TR-808 (Vintage Drum Machines pack). Happy beat making! 🙏

You probably want a 808 with a lot of decay. The fl studio 808 kits are best for that.

Francisco you can use one of them as a sample and build off that. But making a full song out of that only loops isn’t good (with exception if you are wishing to practice your mixing skills)

For your 808 Bass. I suggest u should use distortion instead of overdrive. And add just a little of compression to make it sound bigger but not like... ear-damaging. Just from one GarageBand producer to another.
