Cyclone Rake XL removes the Winter leaves and debris out of the 3 sections of drains I have on the property. This machine amazes me every time with how versatile it can be when you consider the vacuum hose and the leaf collection modes you can use. Setup only takes 5 minutes (sped up on here).

GoPro Activity setting at 1080 was actually only loaded up at 720p. Sorry for the grainy look on the close-ups.

Thanks for the video. From what I’ve experienced with it it’s definitely more ideal to have thinks “fluffed up” in cases like that, and already have everything raked out of the pipe before cranking ‘er up and wasting time messing with the large chunks like you had. Makes much faster work of it imho. I’ve got multiple window wells that fill up with leaves and if they’ve gotten wet I end up with the same scenario. Just reaching down with a rake and turning the bulk of them over a time or two before sucking them up works wonders.

Thanks Paul. I'll keep that in mind for Spring cleanup for sure.

I have an older Brinley that is similar to yours. Of course, the model I hav has been discontinued for some time now and parts are no longer available. The suction hose has worn and come apart in 2 places and it is an odd size. I have managed to keep it together and working by using drainage tile tape. The thing works great. It starts under load however, and you had better eat your Wheaties before pulling on the starting rope. Yours has a better dump feature than mine. Mine is a poly trailer and I have to scrape the clippings out with a yard rake. Enjoyed a full watch and left a thumbs up Dave.

I didn't know Brinly made yard vacuums. I had a Brinly sweeper that was great but didn't hold much and I was constantly making trips to the leaf pile. Thanks for watching Dave. You've always been a big supporter of my channel and have always shared some great feedback. Hope all is well with you.

The Cyclone is very impressive and works perfect for those areas that are even hard to blow out with a leaf blower. Lately I've been using it just to pick up grass clippings because the grass in a few sections are growing so fast its leaving wind rows. Thanks for watching!

Hey Dave. Nice product! Definitely useful for big piles of debris. Can you connect it to your discharge chute on the mower deck? Thanks for sharing.
@BeginnerforBSeries
@BeginnerforBSeries 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Ross, yes, absolutely. It has two hoses and a mower deck attachment. Best grass catcher on the market from what I've seen. The hose I was using was an add on. They also make a hose that can discharge into a location instead of the bag catcher. Nice machine.

I just found this channel watching tractor videos while waiting for my LX2610, which I think will be very similar to your B2650. Turns out we're in the same area (I'm over by Crystal Lake). I had a hell of a time plowing some of the storms this past year with my side-by-side, and it's interesting to see how you dealt with them. Anyway I'm subbed with notifications so looking forward to more videos.

Hi Jim. I'm on top of Frisky Hill but you may have recognized the house. Yes, the LX is the same tractor with some upgrades but all the same specs. Thanks for subscribing. My content is less in the summer months but that should change soon. When are you taking delivery on yours?

@@BeginnerforBSeries Last week I was 6th on the waiting list at MB Tractor. Back in May I started out 16th. I'm hoping to have it by Labor Day if I get lucky. I recognized your place because my neighbor used to buy hay from a farm down the road from you, and I used to help him haul it home. (He has since purchased ~80 acres in upstate NY).

@@BeginnerforBSeries Tell me about it! Last winter during the heavy wet stuff I built up piles on the steep part of my driveway and couldn't push it with my side by side so I had to get out and shovel like a scrub. Then later when we had that rock hard ~3" layer I actually bent the frame on my plow when I hit that. I'm hoping having a cab will get me out there immediately after or even during the storms to prevent some of these issues. A different neighbor has a SSQI, hydraulically angled plow I can use this coming winter, so I'm going to try that out. Not quite ready to splurge for the snow blower just yet, but watching some of your videos might have me changing my mind. I did opt for the backhoe as I have several drainage projects around the property and a lot of hand-cut trails to clean up around my 5 acre lot so I don't beat the crap out of the side-by-side during maple season.

@@jimbob281 It was sure a rough one last winter. Didn't matter what you had for equipment on that frozen snow day... it wasn't coming off the driveway unless you stayed out in the storm and kept scraping. The cab will blow you away. You can sit in there with a t-shirt in negative temps and still get hot. I don't think I've ever had it on full heat before. You will be very comfortable for hours in there if you want to be. Did you get the 3rd function kit? You will need that if you are going to be using an angle plow. The blowers are outrageous money but very useful and pays for itself in a few winters. I'd like a backhoe but financially that one did not make sense at the time. I think to add that on when I purchased was close to 11K. I rationalized renting for the amount of times I really need one. However, jumping on when you actually need one vs renting an excavator is a huge plus. Stay in touch Jim!

Hi Dave, Very cool vacuum. Thanks for posting. Have you thought about adapting a piece of 4" thin wall PVC pipe to your vacuum hose end to reach further into your culvert pipe. Just a thought. That was where I went while watching this video. New subscriber here, I just found your channel. I have enjoyed your videos. Stay safe out there... Hello from Massachusetts. Dan

Hi Dan and thanks for subscribing and watching. I hadn't thought of doing that but it's a good idea 💡. That upper culvert pipe had a lot of dirt in it and I'm thinking to call the town road agent to come clean it out as that part comes from the road in town. Thanks for the idea. It would certainly be helpful to not have to stick my arm up into unseen places. 😅

Does it mulch small limbs?
@BeginnerforBSeries
@BeginnerforBSeries Жыл бұрын
It's it does, James. But they will tell you just small debris. It won't mulch like an actual mulcher when it comes to branches and stuff. It's just breaks them up and collects them for you.

looks like it is a pain to dump with all those buckles
@BeginnerforBSeries
@BeginnerforBSeries Жыл бұрын
Hi @Drich... It does take some time to unbuckle and then even more of a pain to line up the velcro when you button it back up. However, the time and real pain (back) is in the leaf cleanup without this machine.
