I ate by myself at a restaurant for the first time last month because of watching your videos. It seems like such a little thing but it used to bring me so much anxiety. Watching your solo travel diaries gave me the confidence to take that little step. Thank you Mark!

Mark is one of those people that radiates goodness and wholesome energy. I truly enjoyed this video. Solo travel can be scary to consider at first but its so rewarding and such a great experience. It can help you learn a lot about yourself and grow as a person as well. The way I see it is that you shouldnt rob yourself from doing all the things you want to do just cause you might not have someone to do it with. Yes doing things with others are fun but doing stuff on your own can be fun and fulfilling as well. Don't miss out on something just cause you might not have a partner to do it with. Do it on your own and go live life. And just like mark said, you just got to stop caring what others have to think cause that'll rob you from a lot of things in your life and just leave you with regret. Its not easy but trust me, itll all be worth it once you do stop caring and do what you want to do.

I usually would rather have a nasty rash than even think about solo travel but I have to say you've really made it look approachable and appealing, the thought of just meandering along, filming everything pretty, eating whatever, and just not having to cater to anyone else and do whatever I want... actually now seems like a fantastic idea. Of course, it helps that we have the Mark Ferris dialogue going over everything, makes it extra cozy, funny, and fun!

Look at all you’re experiencing now and when the time comes to meeting someone. You will have so much to share and to talk about with your life experiences.

I tell myself this quote I love and it’s “The art of not caring what other people think”. It’s true. Even if they do look at you or have an opinion at you. Who cares. We’re all living our lives differently. Love your solo vlogs so much Mark. Makes me motivate myself to do solo travelling. As a woman it’s much more scarier and we need to be more safer but it shouldn’t stop us from doing it. Thank you for being you Mark. You’re absolutely amazing and you’re our friend that we all need. Amsterdam is on my list of travels.

You’re so inspirational Mark. I’m in my 40s and only recently gained the confidence to travel and dine on my own! I’m a freelancer so my schedule is much more flexible than those of my friends and allows me to travel very frequently. If I didn’t do some solo trips I would miss out on so many opportunities. I’m so comfortable venturing out on my own now that I don’t even think twice about it.

Just wanted to share that I’ve booked to go to the IOW in October and travel without my husband but go with my sons. For me, this is a MASSIVE step and going into the unknown and travelling without someone who can do things for me, and I’m so nervous but I know I need this and to be able to do this for myself and my head. I love my own company and rarely have that, so to book this is because of you Mark. You are slowly giving my confidence and the YES that I can do something like this. Thank you xx

(Cafe) ‘Kale’ we also use for calling people Bold (no hair)… Don’t know if the cafe uses it like that too or it is a name. So cool you travel alone and made such a grow in that. U jst described exactly how I feel when ppl say they're bored. I'm like, how?? There are always so many things to do that make me happy. Not enough hours in the day. It's the smallest things that do that for me. Think it's when ur happy on ur own. It's a fantastic life lesson to know early on in ur life. I lived in Amsterdam, for a little over year. I had my own bike it was a little scary at first then I got use to it. It’s the only way to travel around Amsterdam. I saw the gift you sent your best friend for her engagement, it was so thoughtful.
