So in love with Turkey so my husband and i make a point to be in Istanbul every year. We havent been travelling to Istanbul since the pandemic years. My advice to travelling buddies dont take taxi in Turkey. Find a hotel that have easy access to their train or Metro station. Its cheap efficient mode of transport in Istanbul. Enjoy your trip Eve and Martin dont forget to try their sweet baklava, the best in the world by far.

Sad thing about tourists who visited İstanbul , they mostly visit only historical peninsula which is the very limited place for whole city. Daily life is very different than historical peninsula . In these days, turks dont even go there because ıts full of arabs. But ıts our mistake that we completely represent ourselves very different.

Martin, Ave mentioned that when she flew to Turkey she was no longer required to wear facemasks. Please continue wearing them if you are inside and with a lot of people. The # of . cases rose 18% globally last week, according to WHO with more than 4.1 million cases report globally, mostly driven by Omicron variants BA.4 and BA.5. You can get the virus again even if you’ve had it already. Please be vigilant. Please take care of Ave.

Have some reservation about the country just the fact that it's not really as democratic & got much more strict or strange rules thst might be foreign to tourists, especially what's going on in Ukraine now.Stay safe!

Honestly this is disappointing. You barely show Istanbul. We mostly see your face and hear you talk and talk. You’re even talking inside a cab. Not a good video to introduce Istanbul at all.
