This video was excellent! The “tarjeta” at the toll is to pay directly with your credit card. Next time you come keep in mind that Spaniards don’t usually eat paella for dinner and in Madrid a similar drink called tinto de verano is much more popular than sangria. You hit some great bars and you got some beautiful footage of Madrid. I loved your Costco in Madrid video too. As an American living in Madrid, I still like to go to Costco sometimes too!

awww. this reminds me of the road trip in Portugal. the narrow alley! and Lovely La Latina y Lavapies! I'm glad you tried La Venencia y Bodega de la Ardosa. But also you should have tried Taberna Antonio Sánchez,which is known as the oldest Taberna in Madrid.

Thanks, Dave! I just got home from my most recent trip to Lisboa. Starting with my next visit I’m using my friends’ apartment in Saldanha as a jumping off point to explore. I’ll stay a few days with them , head off for a week somewhere, then spend a few more days back with them before returning home. Madrid will probably be my first excursion. This was a perfect video 👍🏼

Those are the Madrid haters. Sangría is awful everywhere and in all its versions (no Spaniard drinks it, it's something for "guiris"). About paella, Valencians, where the recipe has it's origins, think it's a sort of genetical-cultural-geographical thing: nobody can make a good paella but a Valencian and in Valencia. Imagine if the Neapolitans said the same about pizza.

Tapas are a gypsy version of snacks or petiscos, dim sum, mezze, etc And yes, Zpain is the playgound for adults in Europe! The Nevada " version"! Lolitas & Manolitos waiting for $£€...🍆🍑
