For me an underrated city. I enjoyed Warsaw. I was naive. Didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Love the old town area and uprising museum.

Hi Ben, really enjoyed this video of Warsaw Poland. I play Piano and are familiar with the Composer Chopin. I never knew the story of his Heart being preserved so that was fascinating to hear. The resiliency of the Polish people is really amazing as well. Having so much of Poland decimated during World War II it is amazing that they have rebuilt it like nothing happened by it's appearance today. Hope you have enjoyed a lot of the famous Polish Cuisines during your stay in Poland. Looking for to your next video exploring where Adolph Hitler spent a lot of his time during the war.

I’m glad Ben. That’s really cool, it’s such an amazing tale isn’t it. For sure, it’s incredible that a city still stands today. Hope you enjoy coming along with me to explore Wolf’s Lair next Sunday!

What an absolutely fantastic film! I am a huge fan of Warsaw. I am SO glad you took the time to do some background on the war because without that you can't really understand Warsaw. I would recommend also reading up on and/or watching a few films about the Jewish Ghetto. It's a harrowing tale and there are just a few places where you can see remnants of the wall the Nazis built to lock the Jewish population in and some places where there are bricks in the pavement marking out where it was.

Why do you only mention the Jewish part of the city's history? There are films, photos, studies and memories relating not only to the Ghetto, but also to the 1939 war, the occupation and the Warsaw Uprising. Why don't you recommend them? Why do you use the misleading euphemism "Nazis"? The Nazis were members of the NSDP party, and not all Germans belonged to it - but it was the Germans who started the war, attacked Poland together with Russian communists and for 6 years plundered the country, massacred the population, and razed its capital to the ground. It was the Germans who did it, not some mythical "Nazis"

9:32. The building on the left side of the screen is Varso Tower. It was designed by Foster (he's the designer of the London Cucumber). This building is 310 m high and is the tallest building in the EU. You will be able to see the Palace of Culture and Science from above next year from the observation deck. In the Royal Łazienki Park, you can enjoy free concerts at the Chopin monument every summer Sunday. Łazienki Królewskie is the summer residence of the last Polish king, August Poniatowski. At the end of the royal route there is the Wilanów Palace (the only undamaged palace in Warsaw. It was the summer residence of King Jan III Sobieski. It was he who defeated the Turkish invasion near Vienna and protected Europe from Islamization.

Poland is stunning! Thank you for taking us there. Chopin! I'm a musician so that was extra special. 15??? Wow! Some people are just given gifts to lift up the world like Edward Van Halen, whose hand is my profile pic. The Nazi's were pure evil! Who would want to destroy such beauty? Only madmen! I'm glad they had art to reconstruct the city. Art, Music, Theatre, Dance, Writing should all be taught in every school, for these things keep record of our existence. xo

@@BenRobson123 well, it does not. We still watch russia classic ballet and read Tolstoy (although not Dostojewski). We have hard issues with Russia - but still, their classic music is just music. BTW, if someone is complaing about culture stuff - should not use offensive words like "rusek". We may dislike what Russians are doing in Ukraine and we may not be happy with what they did to us - but still, they are Russians, not "Ruskis". And after all I do hope we can find in Russia at leat few decent people, who are not proud of that war.
