merrylands is quite a travel to the city... do you and your wife work in the area? check schools for primary and highschool for your son -is it safe for him to walk or travel to school by himself?

I used to hang around Merryland area in 90’s and flat that time is only $70k lang marami naman mabilhan somewhere else na mas safe for the family don’t rush it. I brought a house in Hinchinbrook $520k 2014 ko binili now it’s bit higher price now in this area. Anyway Goodluck guys for house hunting.

As a home owner here in Melbourne, there's a few ongoing cost with home ownership. Be mindful of body corporate fees (apartments/units), home insurance (optional), council rates and general maintenance especially when purchasing an older type building. Yes the property market is over inflated at the moment but renting is also unaffordable these days. Good luck with your house hunting journey bro

I used to live in Parramatta and have friends who used to live in Merrylands. Pirmi nako na agi an nga area on my way to work sa Milperra. All I can say is don’t limit yourself to Merrylands. Personally, I will never buy an appartment or a house there bisag barato pa. Mas daghang nindot sa SouthWest and mas safe pa. Try mo explore sa newer areas sa Southwest so you can see the difference. 😊

I don’t know why people say Merrylands isnt as safe as others, it depends on the area. Bumili ako ng apartment dito sa merrylands near sa train, very peaceful

I thought it looked familiar im from Merrylands West…..my town house (detached from the others looks more like Duplex) cost us $475,000 in 2014 love the suburb

Sydney is always the one of the most expensive properties in the world. Kung gusto jud ninyo mo maka less balhin jud mo sa regional areas. It's quite a big adventure though but If you guys like to explore other states lalo na Western Aus and Queensland mas less jud ang housing.. God Bless sa inyong mga plano❤🙏

Keep looking guys, there are so many other better and more family friendly suburbs in Australia in that price range. Aim for a house with 3 - 4 bedrooms like the those display homes you showed us. You guys are a well educated family, and Jian deserves the space and backyard to play in.

@@Speedi-tm5dm You can find a 500,000 house up North Qld that's still relatively modern, 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas and if you are lucky even a pool....Sydney is crazy crazy prices for what you get. If both mum and dad can work remotely... I'd try broaden the search, just my two cents
