Thank you. I am greatly inspired by your videos. I am 66 years old & I keep saying that when I grow up I want to be an artist. I took a few local classes several years ago. I was pleasantly surprised that I seem to have been blessed with my father's natural creative instincts. I am highly interested in painting people & trees realistically. I have just started painting. I was not pleased with the wet on wet method for more realistic painting and stumbled upon your KZfaq channel. It is exactly the method I was seeking. Wow i just started a street scene where an autumn tree just like your one is the main event dominating the foreground. Your video is so useful. I intend to do the leaves as you did. I often admire alla prima style where they usually paint impressionist style trees but I can never resist the detail trap. Loved how you isolated and defined those trees in the background with the dark paint. Ive been a pencil drawer for 50 years and this is my first year with paint! Its a great medium but boy, my ocd has kicked in! Thanks again.

Makes a ordinary photo look extraordinary. I would love to join his course as I’ve learned so much from his tutorials. Sadly I’ve retired from a couple of health problems. So have no income as such . But officially retire in 8 months .so hopefully will be able to sign up then.

Probably because, although it looks great, where is the "art" or interpretation in this type of work? If you want photo realism, then just take a photo, no need to paint it afterwards if all you're doing is simulating a photograph. Looks wonderful, but lacking "soul".
