Very impressive. Both tags are works of art each in their own way. The black on the curled paper pieces looks much darker on your iPad which is evidently why commenters guessed it was burned. It was fun watching your interpretation of the tag, and then watching how it was actually made. I would love to see more of this in the future.

Love this series! Both tags are beautiful but I am partial to your browns and tan tones around the birds. I know too that it has helped me notice and attend more to the smallest details in tags, pockets,, tucks, etc. Thank you!

You can use crochet hooks or kebab skewers to curl the paper, though yours turned out. You did a great job I think. Fun project!

You did such a great job with the tag. I loved watching this. It just goes to be prove you can substitute many things to get a certain look. I'm a terrible procrastinator & will put in off doing something if I think I don't have everything I require. We can't get everything in these times. Post is terrible. I know in Vienna right now how slow the post is. It took 3 weeks to send my son something from the UK. He got it just a few days ago.

I think you did a fantastic job recreating her tag! I think you got the tag size almost spot on. I just think her labels were smaller. I’m just asked a pen pal in Germany if she wants to do this since we can’t really send mail at the moment. Thanx so much for the idea!

Your tag turned out beautiful. I think she burned the edges of those curled papers. Your dark ink in a bottle that you use sometimes would be perfect for those dark edges. I agree she definitely wrote her sentiments in Photoshop or something and printed them out. I really like that phrase she used. This was fun.

If using an ink jet printer, you can gently brayer a coat of transparent gesso or gel medium across the print to lock in the ink. I’m enjoying this series of recreating other artists tags.

Try putting a laver of clear gesso on top, or mod podge 😜 love your tag

Wow! That’s a challenging project! You did great, but you did not hear m😂🤣 when I said to use your brown ink on those very dark areas! I really did keep trying 😅😂🤣. Also could a distressed photo corner work for a replacement of the book corners? All this said, I do love 💕 what you did, it’s very calm! Thanks again 😷🤗❤️🥰
