What a nice way to start my day.

Sunrises (and pre-sunrises) are some of the most beautiful things in life to see - and so few ever get to see the magic in person because they are sleeping. Sometimes you see a jaw-dropping spectacle of colors dancing about in the clouds as they stroll through the sky minding their own business... and then, as if that wasn't enough, you feel the glorious warmth of the sun on your face as it rises from the horizon. Absolute "WOW!" moments. Thank you for sharing this, and reminding me what I've been missing lately!

You have turned this particular KZfaq genre into an art form. I am amazed at the detail of your work, for example the large number of camera set ups for filming the making of coffee. I traveled to the Badlands NP when I was 16 on a road trip to work on my uncle’s ranch in Montana. I was in awe of the natural beauty and power the entire area has. Thank you for sharing your experience there. You’ve reminded me I need to go back and see it again from a new perspective in life.

Good Video Anna, growing up in the Midwest the badlands was my first national park to visit and it remains spectacular. It does give you the feeling you have landed on a different planet. Imagine that....free camping in a national park in 2022...unheard of....As we approach fathers day soon I am hopeful you will honor your father in your video, we realize how much he was to you and how much you miss him, as many of us also miss our fathers. It would be nice if you could share with us your thoughts and reflections so we can get to know this man more and what he has meant to your life.

First time l've traveled to the Bad Lands especially with a young and smart tour guide. Well almost a tour guide as she herself is partially consciously but well, let's say it...unconsciously finding her own way. I'm so much older than you but like the poem said l have more places and people in my future. I too am trying to find my way. Anna, that water that you emptied down the drain was liquid gold. That was homemade veggie broth and it contained much of the vitamins and minerals from the other ingredients. In the future, I suggest saving it and drinking it. Good luck out there!

A Beautiful soul is drawn to natures wondrous beauty. You are that soul.

Sunrise is the best time to see the badlands. When I was a kid we would go there on vacations. My dad would drive all night from our home in MN and I would wake up in the back seat and the badlands would come into view as we got off the highway at the northeast entrance. The first formations I would see looked flat like stage scenery and I loved to watch as the sun made them 3 dimensional. We would stay in a cabin at the Cedar Pass Lodge and I would go out every morning and watch it happen again. It is a magical place.

I know there's no words to describe what you're saying and it's incredible to think that that is there is so many people have never experienced it Thank you for sharing it thank you for sharing the joy

I just started van camping recently but have been doing a combo of off grid tiny cabin living, rv in BC etc. I’m in my 50s, kids grown up, found the love of my life 2 years ago in an old friend from my teens. It’s like being in my adventuring 20s again. Your videos are incredible I’m in my van right now and had insomnia so I have been watching quite a few!! I swear I am beyond appreciative for the time and effort that goes into your wonderful captures of these adventures, I feel like I’m in the passer seat. I remember specifically a video of yours I watched a few months before I started my van life. My baby 🚐 has been in the shop for a week hoping to get service done on it tomorrow it’s really been a huge anchor of anxiety on me because I’m in a odyssey no build, was only 2 weeks in until a part feel from under my van. I’ve been studying van life for a year before I started and I knew this day would come but it’s just a different range of emotions when your home is in the hands of uncertainty. Carshield has been stalling on me and I’m ready to get back on the road and part ways with them

I've camped at these campgrounds many times during cross country trips since the 80s. They are both brutal and beautiful. Made me jealous to see them again. The badlands and black hills area is so understated and overwhelming at the same time.

I have yet to travel and experience the country at the age of 43...i can't thank you enough for inspiring me by sharing your experiences. I truly felt God through your eyes and experience. Namaste.

The Badlands is one of my favourite National Parks...so far. Our closest encounter with bison was on the road into that camp spot. In the category of National Monuments the Craters of the Moon in Idaho was very cool.

So beautiful, I have been there every year during the summer for the past 4yrs…this year my goal Is drive there with my converted van…that is prayer.

The first time I entered the Badlands, it felt like I had stepped into a painting; the colors are amazing and beauty is incredible for such a inhospitable place. A great place to have another bison encounter is in the Wildlife Loop of Custer State Park, SD; another of the many offerings of South Dakota. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
