And in the past memory it's also clear who is tanjiro's ancestors (or even dad i guess) between the two, without mentioning that tanjiro always saw yoriichi with his eyes, in first person, he had a memory of this mysterious swordsman, but he never "felt" like he was him and only remembered seeing him from what seemed to be his own eyes. But yea idunno what I'm even doing here i just rewatched the whole season 2 in reactions and i have to get up in 2 hours, gaddam

On every single reaction video, there's someone who thinks this is Tanjiro's dad.... Tanjiro's dad doesn't even look like them. Plus they haven't met in over 113 years, so the strongest ranked Upper Moon would have been a demon for at least that long.

These reactors are watching 10 different animes per day so they have no clue what even happened to some characters in season one. They think like, oh he's got the same hair colour and lenght. It must be his dad. Its so fucking annoying and these kind of "watchers" that watch it just for views, are revealing themselves in such moments. All it takes is thinking and remembering some events that happened earlier.

Mostly everyone in this fandom loves Douma, simply because they find him cool/interesting or attractive. Considering this is the first time anime onlys are introduced to Douma (kinda, if you exclude the 2 minutes of screen time in season2), you can’t really critique them based on details from a book they’ve never read. @@Eise18. Dude he is his older brother and he didn’t became a demon because he was jealous of Yoriichi. He didn’t want to die early like at 25 because he attained demon slayer mark. He also wanted to preserve his technique life long because he valued it so much. He earned every bit of strength when he was a human so he didn’t want to loose it neither his life. Beating Yoriichi was one of his purpose but he abandoned that idea when he fought Yoriichi after becoming a demon.

For those who CLEARY dont pay attention Kokushibo is the older brother of Yurichi the first breath user but due to him being weaker than his younger brother he found Muizon and become his business partner in order to help rid of the demon slayers. The only person who really relates to Kokushibo is the mist hashira i forgot his name but hes the quiet one and his great ancestor is actually Kokushibo which is why hes a strong swords men. His back story will come in the arc

These people actually reacted the same as i did when i first read the manga. All with the hanafuchi or hana smthng earring are tanjiro's dad because that's what he wears in the early episode, but right after when i read new chapter that actually said it's yoruichi, then i think that kokushibo is yoruichi. Then turns out the new chapter that shows us their backstory, pretty much confused if you're not reading the manga tho

Not to be rude but do people just like not pay attention to the fact that Tanjiro’s dad was dead already by the time season 1 happened and we’ve only seen him in flashbacks. Plus it can’t be Tanjiro’s dad because it’s been 113 years

This episode literally said that the Upper Ranks had another meeting since 113 years and everyone still thinks that Kokushibo, the "Mysterious Swordsman" (I'm not saying their name due to spoilers) and Sumiyoshi is Tanjiro's dad. And if they recognized their voices, all of them sound different
