@@princessdollgf best for me, based on vocal color. each of them are distinct and balance each other out. Karina is "dark" and husky, Giselle's I can't describe well but it's playful/sassy while feeling grounded. Winter is more light and airy, while Ningning is smooth, rich and warm. And the icing on top is they're all proficient singers. Rarely do you get a group where each member's vocal color is distinct, and each of them can sing well. Just for context, I've been following K-pop for over 10 years (but tbh, mostly an SM stan)

For girl group I agree. But the kpop group that has the best vocal color is SHINee.

You really think these are actually "live"? I never believe anything is actually live anymore. It can so easily be a studio live with minimal editing to make it sound live but there is always still autotune in these.

I don't liked overrated things, and here we have overrated vocals aespa. Is this what you call top tier? Strange how so called top tier sounds so normal in standard, they just sounds like so many others, no wonder they have to lipsync when performing with dance because they don't even capable to sounds stronger or better even when just standing. I think people just mistaken their better tones as better vocals, they have members with top tier tones but that doesn't mean they all have top tier vocals. Btw, karina should has less lines next time, her vocal tones are so nasal, it hurt my ears.

@@o.o4200 like nasality to a certain extent and Karina's didn't bother me at all, the others are better on vocals but Karina's rap technique is great, this song just isn't focused on that. I also think that when it comes to singing, others should sing more, but as Karina is the most popular, because this she sings a lot. and yes, compared to most kpop ggs, aespa is at the top of the list, they are not WOW but they are good yes, performing and the vocals are nice to hear, especially winter's voice, it invades your head and takes up space.

@@wingofwinter888 You are funny. Coachella was the FIRST ever time they SUNG LIVE in front of live audiences (as u know they debuted in the middle of COVID). It is understandable that they got nervous and excited, which result in shaky voice. Winter was amazing. But don’t forget that Giselle hyped the crowd up with her higher pitched rap. Karina remained so stable throughout the performances. And Ningning nailed her low notes as well as her energy. You should be fair in your judgement and dont even think of discrediting the other members. Anyway, they should’ve sing live since their comeback to build up confidence and vocal abilities as a whole. So what if some of them may lack in vocal abilities in the beginning? Even lesserafim who used to be criticised for their unstable vocal performance for their debut song got lots of praise and appreciation for their courage to sing live. So if other groups can showcase their vocals since their debut, why can’t aespa? They are from SM. And did they look happy and energetic on stage when they were forced to lipsync? HELL NO! Can’t you see the way their stage presence has improved when they actually sing live? Anyways, I’m glad that aespa is finally able to do what they should have done and all the members deserve the praises and recognitions for their abilities. Period.
