The only National Park in the northeast, Acadia National Park captures the sheer beauty of the rocky Maine Coastline over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Located on Mt Desert Island, a short drive from Bar Harbor this National Park offers extensive views overlooking the rocky cliffs, pine trees, and panoramic Ocean views as the waves crash against the rocks. Unlike any other National Park in the United States, Acadia is a one of a kind must visit location in the Northeast.
Located on Mt Desert Island - Acadia shares the island with a few small towns. This drive is on the western half of Mt Desert island abutting the national park on the eastern half and hugs the coastline to Bass Harbor on the southern end. A beautiful, quaint, picturesque harbor town in downeast Maine.
