The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is the world's first public bonsai museum.
It opened in 1999 and introduces the history and culture of bonsai in Japan and around the world. Inside the museum, there are about 100 bonsai on display, ranging from ancient trees over 100 years old to palm-sized miniatures.
In addition, materials and videos related to the creation and care of bonsai are also on display, making it a comprehensive spot for everything about bonsai.
As a hub for spreading the charm of bonsai, it attracts many visitors from both Japan and overseas, and it is recommended not only for those who love bonsai but also for those who are interested in it. Please visit at least once; you may discover new attractions.
