I have traveled to 21 countries in my life and many of them in the past 5 years, there is nothing like living out here in the bush, nothing !!.
Let me paint the picture for you, you sitting around a bonfire at night with nothing but darkness all around, the air is just cool enough and the night sky is crystal clear like a lake in the mountains.
Suddenly you hear a whoooppp, everyone pops up and is aware of a Hyena out on patrol calling the rest of the clan. The best yet is the chilling call of a lion or leopard or the magical sounds of the nightjar.
I have been in Hoedspruit for 7 years now and I love living here, despite the insanely expensive wifi, there is no signal and I must do all my own cooking, dishes, laundry, and cleaning. I hear more birds than cars and this is a place my soul is at peace. I have a cleaning team that comes 1 time every 2 months to do a big clean, tone is 35-45 minutes one way but I live on the most private side of the estate. There are +-6 estates in Hoedspruit some allow pets and some do not, some you can walk, and others you can not. We used to be able to walk and run here and they took that away because of selfishness and greed.
I do live a greater quality of life out here and there are means to get everything you desire.
