This is the end of Oct 2023 and the first heavy snow fall of the season. Calgarians had tough time commuting as it was a Monday and it snowed through Sunday night. Due to this first heavy snow fall, Calgarians were not fully prepared and ready for the storm, which resulted in crashes on the highways and delays. This heavy snow fall was also enjoyed by many on downtown Stephen ave.

glad to see in canada winter is still winter.....in italy winter is milder every year, i dream of 30-40 years ago when it snowed many times all thru winter time.....we are having 14C max temperature now in november.....crazy!

You should retitle your video. This is a very light autumn snowfall, not winter, and far from heavy. The first day of winter is December 21st, and your video is from late October. Also, the audio commentary used at the beginning of your video was indeed from a heavy snowfall, but does not correspond to to the light snowfall seen within your video at all. This video should be titled "Calgary - Light Autumn Snowfall".

The biggest problem for the commuters was that we had freezing rain before the snowfall. That was why the roads were so icy. The downtown streets were just wet. And the snow did mostly melt with temp. around 9 - 13 C the following days. It's Calgary (wait 5 min and the weather will change]) Lucky us!

I live in Calgary for many years. I hate to drive and walk on the icy road in Calgary. I am planning to move to Vancouver in next few years, cannot handle this cold and snow anymore.

15 cm of snow should not be a problem, its all about politics. Last 2 years 1 cm of snow have been a big problem in Norway. Before that, we got a problem when its was 30 cm on snow. 15 cm should be possible to handle, its all about politics. 15 cm of snow was easy years before 2021, now we have a stupid goverment
