The Catania Metro is a subway line operated by the Ferrovia Circumetnea, serving the metropolitan city of Catania. The line is only used by specific rolling stock. The section in operation is divided between the stations of Stesicoro and Nesima, has a length of 8.8 km and connects the historic center of the city with the Nesima district. Extension works are underway both in the direction of the Airport (south-west) and in the direction of Misterbianco (north-west). The exercise is carried out by the new Titagarh-Firema electric trains (CT0 series).

La metropolitana di Catania è una linea di metropolitana gestita dalla Ferrovia Circumetnea, a servizio della città metropolitana di Catania. La linea è percorsa solo da materiale rotabile specifico. La tratta in esercizio si articola tra le stazioni di Stesicoro e Nesima, ha una lunghezza di 8,8 km e collega il centro storico della città con il quartiere di Nesima. Sono in corso i lavori di estensione sia in direzione Aeroporto (sud-ovest) sia in direzione Misterbianco (nord-ovest). L'esercizio viene svolto daii nuovi elettrotreni Titagarh-Firema (serie CT0).
