This is my first walk in a while after an ongoing series of challenging life events. It's a splendid Winter's Day on the Southern Gold Coast and my fragile self is needing this walk in the sunshine and in the sea air so very much. I began with the idea of putting just one foot in front of the other and just breathing - relaxing and letting all my worries fade somewhat away..
The water is it's usual crystal blue and there are some pretty big fish swimming just beyond the rocks - I hope you can see them as I zoomed in in post-production.
I walk along the Gold Coast Oceanway Path down past the famous Kirra Hut and the Kirra Pavilion and come to check out the new developments of what was once the cold Kirra Hotel. The changes are massive and one day I will compile a video of all the changes that have taken place over the past year. I just don't know if I actually have any footage of the old pub before they tore it down.
I will continue to monitor the developments here and all over the Gold Coast.
I was feeling very fragile on this walk - my sensitive Soul has been battered and bruised constantly over the past couple of months and I am certainly feeling it. I had an hour to spare between appointments today and so made a point of getting out and walking in one of my favourite place to visit on the Gold Coast - it's always worth the effort and fuel costs to drive here - something so very special about the Sothern end of the Gold Coast / The Gold Coast World Surfing Reserve & Gold Coast Superbank.
Life is peaceful and vibrant and the people here so chilled and happy - enjoying life in paradise. I hope you also enjoy this video - it was very necessary for me to make this one after so long between filming.
My best wishes to you all from the beautiful Gold Coast of Australia.
Aussie Rose xx

My videos are my way of sharing the magnificent place that I live (and visit) - this amazing piece of paradise & heaven on earth with viewers all over the world. My videos highlight holiday destinations, travel destination, local communities, things to do, walking paths, beautiful beaches, coastal villages, forests, the laid back Gold Coast life, tourist attractions, sunsets, sunrises, holidays, peaceful places, busy cities, country towns, local art, local culture, seasonal changes, the power & the beauty of Mother Nature. I love to capture moments in time & the changing face of the landscape & society.
I hope viewers find my videos immersive, relaxing, interesting & a way to experience this part of the world from a distance, or to learn about things that you can see or do when you visit or live in these locations. I make these videos to help me with my own chronic health issues & C-PTSD & I hope I can help viewers to feel good if they also live with health conditions that prevent them from getting out & exploring, I also hope that my videos help people relax when dealing with anxiety or the sounds of the beaches help to relieve tinnitus - which I live with too.
