前田さんの映像は鮮明、音も良くて何回見ても飽きません。素晴らしいです。一度生で見てみたいです。2018年中に実現するようにしたいです。千葉からだと多少時間がかかるのでコンサート予定など把握して出かけます。それにしてもこの子達はすごいです。見えないところでの努力を見せないところがまた、すごいですね。

You have to be insanely fit to be in this band. I can not imagine how hard it must be to play a wind instrument, especially a heavy one, and dance like that. Amazing! They are insanely good too. They certainly deserve being called “The Best High School Band in the World”. 🤩

They have their act together. It just strikes me every time I see them, that they go the extra mile to do everything in their performance to the maximum. This sets them apart from the rest. I continue to wonder how they do it and where the energy comes from. They are truly outstanding in my book. USA fan.

「賞よりもSHOW」演奏者が笑顔で楽しんでいます。そして賞は後からついてくる。これが2018ローズ・パレード参加者による2017・12・30マーチング大会で最優秀金賞(世界一で世界中へ配信)京都橘高校が世界中に認められました。このメンバーには義足の学生さんも。まさにこのメンバーがこの子達。この会場で見学された方はなんて幸せ。京都橘高校の関係者様。ありがとう。

Kyoto Tachibana is not the only #1 entertaining band to me BUT the most discipline, coordinated and respectful student club I've seen....just look after they finished their performance some members ( maybe juniors ) give their instrument to other member (also maybe junior ) and then removed all the markers they put on the the ground ! what a beautiful act indeed !....Kyoto Tachibana is truly a model to young generation if not to all of us watching them.....Long live Kyoto tachibana ! ... sugoi !

113期（3年生）と114期（2年生）と115期（1年生）の皆さんが勢揃いしています。横断幕を持っている二人の子たち、、カラーガードの子たち、そして楽器を演奏している個性的な子たち、他の動画も見ているうちにすっかり顔も覚えてしまいました！この子たちが中心になって2018年1月1日のアメリカのカルフォル二アにおいて「ローズパレード」を見事にやりきりましたね。素晴らしく立派な堂々とした、そして可愛くて元気いっぱいのパフォーマンスでした。日本そして世界中の橘マーチングファンを魅了しました。現地アメリカの観衆の皆さんに日本人の素晴らしさと友好的な姿勢をアピールしてくれました。オレンジの悪魔たちにとってこの体験は人生の宝物になったことでしょう。吹奏楽とマーチングの素晴らしさを伝えてくれている橘高校吹奏楽部の皆さんに感謝したいと思います。今後も応援していきたいです。

I'm from Oz also and totally agree ! Maybe I'm Biased but Chippi and My favourite Flute Player , Wow so full of energy and enthusiasm !

@@dannygayler3164 Chippi was a legend. There was only one other that had her energy and enthusiasm after her graduation, and that was Penguin. Having said that, this entire band/club is so outstanding, and I find it hard to go a week without my KT fix.

@@mra6691 Guess you have watched the 2018 Rose Parade? Chippi and Penguin side by side on their xylophones (glockenspiels?). Chippi was graduating and Penguin went on to become leader of the percussion group. Chippi is now playing in the O-Vils - guess Penguin is in uni?

@@rossphillips5916 I have watched as many video's of this amazing band that are freely available on KZfaq. 2006, 2012, and 2018 Rose Parade's are definitely my favourites. Chippi was a legend with her energetic personality, and Penguin carried the energy on after Chippi graduated. And I recently saw both of them on an O'Vils performance clip. Both Chippi and Penguin were playing keyboard instruments. I wish the clips were longer, but it was enough to be encouraged that they, and the other graduates are continuing their love for band style music. I truly hope that O'Vils attracts more graduates, and gets bigger and better. At the same time, I continue to watch the KT band, as they continue to entertain fans. I would hazard a guess that you also watched the two music video's that featured the KT band as well?

I have no idea what his boring speech was about, but it's a credit to these band members that they acted like they were listening!! :) But this is the best band ever. I thank them for coming to America and bringing us their many smiles and endless energy!

It was probably not boring to them. It's a language issue. You are nevertheless right on the quality of these players' performances. They are just great, highly disciplined, hard workers, and very entertaining. Bravo Tachibana. Thank you, Mr. Tanaka, for your dedication to the school and the many new classes you prepared over your 23 years' career at Tachibana. The world appreciates your work as well. Konichiba.

この先生はお話がお好きな方なんですね・・・(^^;) みなまで語らなくても演奏が始まれば一目瞭然素晴らしさがすぐに伝わってきます(笑) それにしても演奏そのものにブレが無くてノイズも皆無そしてダンスのキレも素晴らしくて言うことないですね。カラーガードも含めて一人一人のスキルが高い事が容易に分かります。なぜこんなにも楽曲に合わせた楽器編成とダンスの振付ができるのでしょうか。センスがバツグンすぎます。

田中宏幸先生のお話は典型的な「”校長先生の挨拶”」ですね。１分以内にしてください！！著書「オレンジの悪魔は教えずに育てる」拝見いたしました！素晴らしく読み応えのある本でした。橘マーチングチームの中にいないと知ることが出来ない予想外の話、感心する話、うなずける話などたくさんのエピソードについて楽しく読ませていただきました。オレンジの悪魔たちの素晴らしさと田中先生のご奮闘ぶりがうかがえました。今後のご活躍を祈っています。ご挨拶は短ければ、短いほどｇｏｏdですよ。頼みますよ！

一曲一曲の演奏自体はもちろんの事、特にseaside・boundの移動中(go　bound)の腕組んで回ったり座ってバズーカみたいにポーズとったりしてて本当に可愛いし楽しそうで見るたび元気もらえます！

18:07 ファイヤボールの『ル』を言った直後の一音目からキッチリ演奏。『ファイヤボール』で息を出してその残りの息で演奏に戻っている事になると思いますがこの早ワザが凄い❣️😍

I noticed one small detail. at the end, when they are finish playing, at 29:50. one of the Tuba girl are running toward the two other Tuba boys, while the first one reach out his hand to take the tuba, she give it to the second tuba boy that are further away..., just something I noticed I am not going to comment on what is going on there..

凄すぎますね。最近マーチングに気が付きました。ここのお客様は、毎年見ていると思いますがうらやましいですね。ただ、これが普通、当たり前と勘違いしていないか、ちょっと気になります・・・

高い位置からの映像はいいですね～。パーカッションまでしっかり撮れています。実は私も一脚を伸ばして、とは考えましたが、それだとモニターがよく見えない。脚立がないと撮れないという結論に至り断念しました。パレード撮影も含めて以前から思っていましたが、前田さまのカメラを高く上げた撮影技術には驚愕させられっぱなしです。今回はズーム操作まで！！とても綺麗な動画に感謝です。ところで、もう一台のカメラでは撮影されなかったんですか？

Marschtanz63様。ありがとうございます。カメラを高く上げての撮影ですが、いつも雑に扱ってしまっていることからブレブレです。この時も後半は腕が痙攣していた影響がモロに出ていますね（笑）。撮影に関して、Marschtanz63さんの方が理想的な撮り方だと思いますョ。安心して観ていられます。もう一台後方から放置撮影してましたが、結果変な画角でしたので今回はボツです。

They have been playing for years before joining the band and most own their own instruments. There is certainly some voluntary assignment such as Tuba players moved to sousaphones and saxophone players moved to baritone sax.

The other guy on left with kanabō (=club) is Shuten-dōji, the famous demon boss who used to dwell in these mountains. Maybe the other guy is Minamoto no Yorimitsu, the samurai who slayed Shuten-dōji with help of poisoned sake as the legend goes. Don't know why he has pizza though...

橘マーチングバンド視聴初心者です。いつも綺麗な動画をありがとうございます。ふと、気になったのですが、カラーガードの子以外の子で、左肩に「飾り布」（すみません正式名称分かりません）付いてる方と、付いてない方とおりますが、あれが付いてる方は、もしかして最上級生の方とかなんでしょうか？御存じの方おられましたら、御教えください。気になってしまうと食も喉を通らずダイエットに繋がってしまい。。あ、これは本人に取っては幸いなのですが。。

改めて見直してみましたが、カラーガードとパーカス隊以外は全員付けているように見えますね。生徒によっては、肩でなく顔の前の方にずらしているように見えます。

ユニフォームは1975年からずっと使い続けてると以前田中先生が仰っていたので、多少のバージョン違いがあるんですかねぇ。
