I got 4K Microscope Camera HAYEAR HY-5299 with HY-180XA - 180X C-MOUNT Lens. I tried it with a classic microscope and with a telescope. I had a chance to record the Moon and Jupiter.

I used Optika B-153. I added a link to the video description. I have not tried many other microscopes. But this has a "fine focusing mechanism". Specimen stage with X-Y movement. I do not regret buying it.

@@PavloKhmel Hi again Pavlo, Some say that it can only record 4k 60fps is aspect 4:3... and you can only record 16:9 in 4K 30fps. on Cf card. is that true?

@@RandomRestore Yes, that is correct: 3840x2160 30@FPS (4K) and 2880x2160 60@FPS (4K). And HDMI output goes into 1080p when CF recording is set to 4k 60@FPS mode.

@@RandomRestore It is good as microscope to connected directly to the monitor via HDMI. Good for photos and short video. But for filming it does not have any controls. Brightness and exposure settings are often overwritten by auto correction. No manual settings.

I want to see 1080p vs 4k quality of this camera, can you please send or upload to imgur and add to the description few photos of PCB taken on this camera through that monocular? Min and max zoom at 4k and 1080p each at the same spot (don't know if it can even make photos at 2MP, so ideally it must be stop frames from recorded videos at those resolutions). I am just trying to get 1080p 60 fps camera with nice sensor, there are a lot of crap fake res 38/41/48/52 MP with 16MP 4:3 small sensor cropped to 1080p 16:9 and they provide really bad picture, and also many cameras with IMX334 claimed to provide 4k@30fps and 1080@60fps, I checked almost each of them (couple by myself, others through asking to test reviewers or owners on forums) and all of them cannot provide 60 fps over HDMI at all (it outputs at 60 hz but images refreshes every 2 frames). But as I understand this can at least provide 1080p@60 fps over HDMI (tho 4k at only 30 fps, and other resolutions in reality showed on the monitor at 1080p, they are only recorded to SD card at those resolutions and framerates). P.S. Would also be nice if you could check that 1080p over HDMI is really 60 fps not just 30 fps in 60hz output, to be 100% sure, best way is to use capture card or more simple way to record monitor screen with smartphone in 60 fps and then check frame by frame - if it takes 2 frames to change, even if intermediate frame is kinda interpolated, looking like previous and next frames merged together, then it's only 30 fps...

@@PavloKhmel Thank you a lot for fast response and provided video with photos. Only problem is, you've said that the camera (not the microscope one) is recording in 60 fps and youtube also shows 60 fps, but in reality it's recorded in 30 fps layered on 60 fps framerate, if you step frame by frame on youtube with "" you can see that it takes 2 frames to refresh the image (both your hand movement and monitor image movement), and when you step frames in layered over records from SD card you can see it refreshes every frame... If it would be 60 fps, I could check is it really 60 fps microscope camera output by stepping frames and watching for it refreshing monitor image every step same as your hand movement or not. P.S. I don't know why it happened this way, 60 fps been in reality 30 fps, but I've seen same issue couple times in other reviewers youtube videos. Could you check your video record on PC, does it have same behavior or not, maybe you recorded it in 30 fps? P.S.S. Also I am asking for this type of test, because that info with refresh rate provided by a monitor is kinda misleading. I already bought camera that claimed to provide 60 fps over HDMI, but it is in reality 30 fps even so my monitor information about video input shows 60 fps.

@@PavloKhmel Thanks again, that was great test video. Yes you are right with the comments about those double frames at the end of the video, I've seen same type of fake 60 fps on most "cheap" IMX334 cameras I asked other people to test.

Yes it works. There is not proper mount for the ocular lens. Tested, works.

Does autofocus option works only if object is 10cm away? It will autofocus even if its closer then 10cm?

I just tried. No. Smartphone camera is too far away from first lense. So on screen is 10mm circle. I was able to fokus but image was almost without magnification. Looks like this lense is designed to be used with camera sensor directly.

does it support 2560 x 1440 60fps?

1. It supports 2K 60fps to record video on an SD card. 2. I tried this camera on a 2K monitor via HDMI cable and it connected: 1080p 60hz. Maybe it was not able to detect my 2K monitor correctly. 4K monitor works in 4k. 3. HAYERA application on Windows only records 1080p via USB cable.
