this is the stage spuds were at when i left farming and the u.k. 34 years ago- only we had zero tech/crap tractors. all the farmers i worked for sold out to town planners and holiday makers, whereas i got a degree.

On big fields the headers are done, only the corners are missed out. 🙂

WOW, this is some high level of work. 1. what is the machine doing- CS 100- after the bed forming? 2. What is in front of the tractor who is doing the planting? Some fertilizer?

The CS 100 is a destoner - basically removes big stones to one side and breaks up hard clods from the bed, this gives 'better' potatoes in terms of shape and condition when lifted. The BM1700 is a bed mixer with the ability to treat/dress the seed potatoes before planting. Hope this helps! 🙂👍😎
