Enjoy this quiet ocean walk surrounded by soft waves, blue skies and turquoise waters - famous in the state of Florida. Surrounding the interior of Fort Jefferson this moat offers panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico each more stunning than the last.
Accessible only via ferry and seaplane explore one of the most remote National Parks in the United States, Dry Tortugas which lies about 70 miles west of Key West, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Originally built as a fort during the civil war, Fort Jefferson was later turned into America's most remote prison and was famous for the imprisonment of Dr Mudd - the doctor who helped mend John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
I hope you enjoy this quiet, relaxing walk around the exterior of Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park.
