Águas de Lindóia is part of the so-called Circuito das Águas Paulista, a group of nine cities considered hydromineral resorts, which means that they have several sources of water, medicinal or not, which attract several tourists.
Águas de Lindóia, despite not being the largest, we can say that it is the most important city on the circuit, as it has a large hotel chain and thermal water sources, the benefits of which were attested by Madame Curie. In 1969, NASA ordered bottles of water from the city to send to the Moon on the Apollo 11 Mission.
