This video starts on the top floor of JR Kyoto Station. Then we are walking north along Karasumadori St to Shijo-dori St. We are going through busy Shijo Karasuma and walking north again along Kamo River. There are many cherry blossoms along Kiyamoachi-dori St. Our today's goal is Maruyama Park.

Trivia: There is something I noticed when I made the chapters above. All the English names of Kyoto's main roads are weird. Definitely they are NOT streets. They should have been translated "avenue". Karasma-dori, Gojo-dori and Shijo-dori are just too big to be called "street". But Japanese language doesn't draw a line between "street" and "avenue". So I guess the very first person who translated these roads into English has to be blamed!!!
