Some "guests" on rides like this are more receptive than others. They can be hot & tired, blase' personality-types, or simply unappreciative & oblivious to the imagination underlying the scenes unfolding before them. I think an animatronic re-creation of the famous 19th-century meeting between Stanley & Livingston would be a cool addition to the ride!

There's several Disneyland videos I have watched of people recording their ride experience, I sometimes think "well that was cheesy, I expected more and better animation" and then I remember it's basically made for kids and families, I know I wouldn't have been dissapointed when I was kid or even now. I know it's a lot different being there in person, obviously. I feel my expectations were huge for Disneyland and Disney World yet have no clue what I expected at the same time. I still want to go, universal too.

I love the ambiance of the Jungle Cruise. And that's got to be a tough job to be the skipper driving the boat. They likely get extroverted funny people for that particular job.

Y'know, like, those giraffes really are long-necked cheetahs, those tigers really are watching over a sleeping striped pony, and those explorers really were arguing with that rhino.
