[4K] Nickel Plate Road 765: Steam in the Valley 2022

Күн бұрынThe annual tradition of steam in the valley came in the springtime this year as Nickel Plate Road 765 made its post-pandemic return to the valley. A washout just north of Boston Mill restricted trips to only run from Rockside to Jaite, but this wouldn't stop the event. Hesitant, railfans were unsure of what to expect, from speed restrictions to high security. All woes went away when 765 finally ran, and for the dedicated few, we got shots of the Berk at places we never imagined possible. Excellent job Nick! Glad I was able to attend Steam in the Valley this year. We sure did do a lot on the amount of track they were running on this year!

This video was suggested to me by KZfaq today and I'm glad I watched. At 13:15 my dad walks in the shot and you can barely see the hatch of my SUV at the edge of the shot. That was an awesome day! I got to see 765 spin its wheels right in front of me. I have a compilation of the flybys on my channel as well.

When I went I hiked through rivers climbed on over passes and ran through rain I'll never forget how exciting it was this year
