The airport covers 940 acres (380 ha) and has two runways.
The facility operates year-round, with most flights occurring in the fall, winter, and spring.
The airport was named as number 3 in a 2011 list of "America's Most Stress-Free Airports" by Smarter Travel.

Sooooo, up until you go thru revolving doors you were still in the "secure" area?

Right, you see at 3:40 No Entry, Arrivals Only. There is a small park in the "secure" area (2:15 & 5:20) that we enjoyed on the way back, waiting for our flight. It's a nice and cozy airport...

Myrtle Beach airport is the same way....its refreshing compared to the likes of LAX, Chicago or Orlando.
