Certainly a nice surprise as it was my third ever helicopter flight! Special thanks to our friends at ETL Aviation Shot on GoPro HERO11

Always loved the wee 300's. The deer recovery guys used to chuck them around the sky - and they loved it as it was one of the very few helicopters where you could look back behind you by looking over your shoulder if the deer cut back on you. I was also astounded how much moss the 300's could lift.

Just curious -- is there a place you could land with an engine out in that area of the video near 11:32 ?

Might just about reach the water's edge on the nose but at that altitude, you would have no chance in an airplane

Love the videos but please use a 16:9 format to get rid of the black bars

As much as I’d love to, exporting in 16:9 significantly impacts the field of view. I’ve found the 4:3 aspect ratio works a lot better for content like this

No usable audio after the headsets were taken up. No effort to feed the i/c audio into the recording facility which really is Page One of the Big Boy's Book of Aviation Comms. A great shame especially given the engine off auto-rotation near the end. This video is fine for Flying Club Johnnies but sadly of no use for those of use with an active interest in heli-ops. Great for people who want to just watch the World go by... Sorry.
