QASR AL HOSN PALACE Fort | Exploring Abu Dhabi 2020
We went to Qasr Al Hosn the Palace Fort, a place where old architectural marvel stands in the middle of the modern Abu Dhabi. You see, the place is in the middle of the busy streets of Abu Dhabi and when you glance the difference of the old structure against the modern building surrounding it, its... it's INSTRAGAMABLE to take a picture and post it. Further, we learned that one of the towers standing there was so old, as in 17 hundreds old and it's still standing up to this day. They said they can only account a probable year when it was made and that's around 1761. The tower was made to protect the freshwater the island has and later on got extended and was made into a seat of power, the government of Abu Dhabi where the Sheikh and his family stayed.
They opened the place last 2018, renovated the place and converted it to a park and museum where one can enjoy a sip of coffee and marvel the surroundings. Come and visit this place, this should really be included in one of your travel lists when you visit Abu Dhabi.
