Taeyeon never wanted to be leader anyway. She already stepped down from that position once. SM always promotes the oldest while other companies promote either the one who had the longest training time (Taeyeons was really short she was one of the last members to join SM only Sunny and if I remember right Seohyun came later) or does suit the position the best. She still is a great leader though. And she will be the official leader forever anyway.

And yep, true, Taeyeon did not like at first to be the leader.. because.. pressure. 😨😰 But she accepted her fate and did her best wholeheartedly. That's actually an INFJ personality. An INFJ doesn't like too much attention. They don't like to be in front coz they like to lead people from behind. But INFJ (Taeyeon's MBTI) are one of the best personality to lead/manage a group of people. They like to do work behind the camera because they are shy to be in in the front. But INFJ is a very good leader because of their compassion and high empathy towards others. They are organize, creative, a perfectionist. For me, Taeyeon fits the role perfectly. Im saying this not because she is already the leader, but because I am a Psychology major, and the INFJ is a leader with a very big compassionate heart.

Also: Tae was REALLY busy during the whole preparation for the album and the comeback with her personal schedules sharing the responsibility helped her a lot. As far as I know they've decided anything by voting since Taeyeon stepped down the first time, she only has the final word if there is no agreement and she always get the microphone :D Taeyeon will always be the "Kid Leader" and SeoHyun will always be the maknae

I laugh at the comments below, saying something bad like "sooyoung always wanted to be the leader" blah2. They never accepted tae as the leader lol. And just as always, this Jessica stands always like to involve her in everything snsd is doing at the present. 😂

They should just support her in china or something. Or just buy from her business since it was reported to be going downhill and bankrupt and in debt.

It's been 8 years but 3 since their previous album, she was there for most of them so there will always be people who talk about her especially if they were fans from the beginning. As long as no one's getting hurt or hated on what's the harm?

thts def not true.....yes she had her difficult phases..but she never disliked it...she took pride in her being the leader of such an amazing group

@@sru_0503 at one point she confirmed that she didnt like being the leader. She said in one of her interviews but the girls encouraged her so she fully accepted the role. But since the group has members who are all independent and strong, they can all lead the group if given a chance. Thats why taeyeon is okay with other members being the leader of their comeback or sub units.. SNSD- Taeyeon TTS- Seohyun OHGG-Yoona Forever 1 comeback- Reportedly Yoona but they take turns.

She didn't "get demoted", the other members were helping out by taking on organisational work. I think the rest of the members respect taeyeon a lot and understand she's got a lot on her plate

@@partylikeits1066 never in their 15 years did they publicly speak on good terms about her being their leader tho. Its always how they shared it. How it was hard for her so they took it off her plate etc. No one on kpop does that to their leader only her and in their 15th year they say the same. Man so ungrateful for what she did in their hiatus.
