(4K) SUPER RARE: Air Tahiti Nui 787 Landing at Vancouver YVR and Other Arrivals!

4 жыл бұрынMarch 14, 2020. Air Tahiti Nui brought one of their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to Vancouver YVR for a fuel stop after arriving from Paris. ATN flies a route from Paris to Los Angeles to Tahiti. But since the USA inquired a travel ban between Europe caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, ATN could no longer fly to LAX. Thus making YVR a good location for a fuel stop, while ATN gathers their bearings on how to continue their service!

Who knew that one Air Tahiti Nui 787-9 flight Vancouver would tern into a daily flight (sometimes three or two a day) coming from Papeete and Paris! I truly hope Air Tahiti Nui will make Vancouver a route after Covid-19 is over.

AirTahiti changed refuelling to Vancouver instead of Los Angeles because of the high infection rate of Covid . This stopover discontinues July 13th 2020 and back to Los Angeles two hour layover refuelling stop.

Air Tahiti Nui has the best livery out of any current paint job out there. Better than Hawaiian Airlines too. It just oozes south pacific vibes! Tropics, warm beaches, warm weather and a cold drink in your hand.

Such a rare scene that Air Tahiti Nui is landing at YVR...I think due to the US not allowing European Flight? They later fly via Guadalupe instead between Papeete and Paris

No problem! The reason your videos stand out are because you always get incredible footage of planes, rare and common. I think you should try your best to get some city and mountain footage into the background. That would definitely make the video more spectacular. Other than that, your videos are awesome! If I can say, this crisis has some positive action for spotters and aviation lovers , with the decision taken like rerouting after airspace closure.. After Vancouver was an option for ATN, they decided to stop-by in Guadeloupe (French Caribbean) but I couldn’t shot this unusual and temporary route due to quarantine.... such a deception...I think it was the only chance to have this airline flying here...
